Welcome back, guys. In today's video, we will discuss in great detail all the forms and documents that need to be submitted in the Spousal Sponsorship application for Canada.

Thank you very much! It has been very helpful indeed. I just need clarification on one thing regarding Financial Evaluation form when I am sponsoring my spouse and a dependent toddler. What the checklist says is: "If you are sponsoring a person other than: 1. your spouse, common-law or conjugal partner who has no family members, or 2. your spouse, common-law or conjugal partner who has dependent children who have no dependent children of their own, or 3. your child who has no children of his or her own, you must prove that you have an annual income that is at least equal to the minimum necessary income to support the group of persons consisting of:..." Since my child is with my spouse, do I still need to do the Financial Evaluation form? Apologies for the big post, but your guidance in this matter will really help. Thanks!

I'm confused about who should fill out IMM 5406 & 5669 & 5562 1) The principal applicant should fill out a copy of them 2) Dependent children who are 18 years or older should fill out a copy of them, too, right? 3) For the parents and siblings of the applicant, do they need to fill out a copy of them, too? Please let me know. Another thing, for IMM 1283, if the applicant and sponsor have a canadian child together who is less than 18 years and no other dependants. Do we need to fill out that form?

1. You can definitely apply for it beforehand. 2. Its totally your personal choice but its not mandatory from the CIC point of view.

Like it's complicated to find someone to translate your chat. So for real IRCC didn't give you any hard time with this? Also, I wanted to ask if chats and calls from WhatsApp would be approved? Thank you. I really appreciate your kind words Tabi. For the translation part, I believe this requirement was not during my time of application. So, I would suggest if possible please have your chats translated just to avoid any issues. Think there's a couple websites that do it for you I guess. Also have it notarized.

@@mahinmuqadas9335 In my case I only had Whatsapp conversations so that's what I submitted. I have seen people downloading their conversations from Whatsapp and submitting that. As for me, I took a chance and sent screenshots of my chat from different dates. Most of my conversation was mix and mostly in English so I only had to translate a few messages so I did that. I am hoping that I won't have a problem thoug I took a risk. Currently, my application is in process. I will let you know if anything. To be honest, I strongly recommend to download the convo and send that. You can find many videos on KZbin on how to do that.

Hey it is very useful, but i have few questions: 1. At 16.10 you tell about signing the forms by sponsor and principal applicant. How to sign these forms if one is applying Online, no cursor appears for signing! Additionally, when we Validate @15.45, it shows that for online application there is no need to sign by hand but it will be available electronically when we are ready to submit the file to cic. My ques is that, in the end of whole application process it only shows digital signature coloum for one person not for both i.e. Sponsor & principal applicant. So how it is to be signed electronically by both?

Under that section, if you want someone other than yourself to have your personal information, then you check authorize ircc only if he's not acting as your representative otherwise click not applicable. For your spouse provide all the information, that you believe is worth showing in the application.

You can use additional paper for explanation. But make sure it's not too lengthy but precise and to the point.

I'll suggest only showing the work experiences that you have the backup for. Also, if the duration is very short, I don't think you need to mention that as well. However, please make that sure with an immigration consultant before moving ahead.

Hi I applied for Outland spousal PR application online on 12 July 2022 and got return letter yesterday stating that "Our office processes Family Class Sponsorship applications where the Principal Applicant resides in Canada. It appears that the Principal Applicant in your application is not residing in Canada given the information in your application documents." What does this means, I am 100% sure that Outland applications can be submitted via online portal then why they returned my application. Any guidance what should I do next would be appreciated.🙏

Because in 2001 only year of citizenship mentioned, not date. 2. In question 18 about Parliament Act punishable maximum at least 10 years, Can you rephrase it, please. If someone sentenced for 2 years in 2007 and after he is leading a peaceful life and working. He is Canadian citizen since 2001. Now applied for pardon. So, can he sponsor his wife. Thanks for the help and lovely videos. qq, So just wanted to know is the 5476 representative form mandatory to fill if I am filling the outland sponsorship for my wife. I am filling most of the forms by myself and then my wife signs the forms where she needs to. Sometimes we do screenshare. I am guessing the sponsor fills the forms usually in all cases. The IMM 5562 is a supplementary form which contains information about the applicant's family's travels to foreign countries in the last ten years. So, if your family has traveled to another country and stayed there for 6 months or more then this form needs to be filled out.

IMM 1283 will not need to be filled if you are sponsoring your spouse. Sponsoring a spouse does not need to prove income requirements.

Only PR and Citizens can sponsor their spouse for PR. However you can sponsor them for a work permit and that's a different process

The system automatically knows once the application is submitted. Every person has a unique UCI as the name suggests (Unique Client Identifier)

If studying then it will come under the Educational section. Yes you will need to fill up the family information even if they are not accompanying the spouse.

Yes parents and siblings go under this question. Mostly the in person meeting applies but you can also create a supporting letter mentioning the online meeting as well.

I have just have a question, when it comes to the certificate of marriage I know it does need to be the original one, but how will I put it, Should I just take a picture with the original birth certificate and just simply upload it? I am doing an online application so I am unsure about this.

Yes since it's an online application, you're not left with any other option than to simply upload a colour copy of your marriage certificate and make sure most of the documents being uploading are in coloured format

Yes they could be eligible for a study, open work permit or a visitor visa but you cannot sponsor them for PR unless you become PR

The principal applicant hasn't travelled in the last 10 years, so I will be clicking NO. But, in regard to my spouse... Am I supposed to input all his travel information? for the last ten years?? OR only the travel he did since we've been together??? (because we've never travelled together, and he hasn't travelled alone either; EXCEPT back to Canada. There is one question in this form if you can answer for sponsor's education. what is the highest level of education you have done. ok we have to click on highest level whether it is graduation or post graduation. but confuse about numbers. like if my highest level of education is Post graduation and It's duration was 2 years. should I write 2 years of 17 years. like 15 (graduation) + 2 (post graduation) = 17 years .. ! can you explain it

I think you will need to mention the time period instead of total years. For post graduation mention from when to when and same for graduation.
