My wife petition me 19 months ago. We haven't heard any updates since then. And im a norwegian citizen. We also have a immigration lawyer who helped us filling the petition. The processing time in uscis is going backwards. Trued to communicate with the uscis online chat. The only thing that they said is to wait.

It's sickening. I can't even go over there and wait with him because then i wouldn't have a job and be able to sponsor. They force us to be apart for too long!

Why is this happening? If due process doesn’t give us a fair and speedy trial can’t we do a class action lawsuit against USCIS? I’m sick and tired of waiting for my fiancé to be allowed here in the US it’s disgusting that the government can’t be punished for moving so slow. If I was this slow paying my taxes or responding to the US Census id be put in jail. I thought everyone was equal? Why are they allowed to be slow but we are not?

I think most of us are tired. They don’t care how this can affect the mental health of two people who only want to be together. We have been waiting for over 2 years and a half. I completely agree with you.

My case is documantarily complete at NvC from 10 months and am still waiting for my interview my husband is in USA and am in Pakistan and my case was submitted more than 3 and half years ago now it's getting too much time and am mentally depressed of all this ...I don't know when will they give me an interview date....

Just to give my 2cent on 8/15 the process is actually taking 16 months just for NOA1 and NOA2 18 months. Extremely slow.

Exactly! We are going thru the right steps and procedures while we have immigrants in the tens of thousands crossing over the southern border and given free access to wherever they want in the US! Tell me how is this right?! I have to live without my wife for two years because I want you to the right thing as a citizen. I should just get her a flight to Mexico and have her cross over and she’ll be at my doorstep in a week!

Wife and I are at step one. Our petition was received and accepted in April at the Texas USCIS center. Once we get to the Second, then it would go to the USEmbassy Philippines. Do you have a estimated time in there processing? Please advise.
