If we're saying the best is the one with the best design I'd say Zacian. I feel like the implementation of Aeos energy into its kit is tie most fleshed out and makes it the most interesting EX mon to play. I wish the other EX mons needed to use energy in more ways that made it feel more relevant to the design.

That Wiggly sing into eject was quite the play. Extremely risky but that could be completely game changing if you have good allies that will follow up.

I will say, I think Zacian is the only EX Pokemon that FEELS EX anymore. Mewtwo with no critical hits feels really underwhelming and after a little adaptation Miraidon is easy to dive onto and take out, Zacian's tools just feel incredibly hard to beat out without draft.

Zacian does take the most skill to pilot, in my opinion. Though Miradion is a close second.

Zacian is the best EX Pokemon to me is not because it is powerful, is because I find it more difficult than other ex and it fun to play😊. It difficult to execute it combo, but it is rewarded. It has great mobility, damage, area denied, objective secure, ripping speed and surprised good survivability. But also have strong weaknesses such as useless without 8 point, aeos energy management, cc and goal zone. Zacian is a strong generalist pokemon, exploitable weakness and high skill ceiling. It strong not overpower, the best state it ever been. (Plus note: when I do crack with zacian, the enemies actually pay respects to me.)

I only started playing about 2 months ago or so. Zacian was the first Mon I bought without knowing people thought down on EX pokemon. Nice to see it's okay to use them now. But I always found Metal Claw my go to move. Is sacred sword really that much better?

At first im using metal claw too, but i found sacred sword more flexible in any circumstances. Agility+sacredsword+aeoscharge+sacredsword.

Kind of. Sacred Sword helps the team more. It's less damage but more catching potential.

Started off with metal claw build, but then transitioned into sacred sword. He was the first pokemon I bought too, started back in February. Almost a gold badge zacian player, so I think sacred is much more versitile. Metal claw, you only hit 1 target, sometimes a couple. Sacred, you can hit mutiple, and you can lay traps. Using energy for instant attacks while the normal sacred sword for planned attacks or follow-ups. I started playing zacian literally right after he got super nerfed apparently, so I never experienced his peak.

Tbh its pretty fine but metal claw and play rough stopping when it hits a enemy or wild poke makes it impossible to escape

Play rough is so good, wdym? I use it if enemies have more melee, it stuns them and is a good engage, allows easier double sacred sword I go agility if they have more ranged or mix Metal claw is underwhelming but deals insane damage if it hits someone, as a Zacian main I don't think it needs any buff, I don't want people to hate her

To be honest all the ex Pokémon suck. They nerf them way too much. Zacian with only two held items and you need to have aoes energy to use his attack is wild. Both mew two trash now and miradon has never been good to me. Hope ho oh is better and more fun. But all the ex get melted. Sure mewtwo x is okay but the meta with CC makes him unplayable. If they nerf the ex mons this hard and put all kinds of rules on them what’s the point of playing them or buying them especially since they get no love in rank. They really need to fix it.

How have we not gotten an update with Ceruledge? I know we will get one to balance him with the rest but that’s what the PTS is for! Change the “old” mons with the new so people have something to be excited for while they aren’t playing the new one come on.
