I couldn't tell you how satisfying the sequence at 9:33 was as a Garde main. Talon, Mimikyu and Umbreon and three of the most annoying Pokémon to go up against as a Garde and they almost always target you if they can. Seeing all three drop despite being in MELEE range has helped me heal some trauma ahhahahaha

I had a Gardevoir match where the other team destroyed all of our goals and our team wanted to surrender. I refused and at the ray fight they killed all of us except me. They were dumb enough to start hitting rayquaza even though they didn’t need it. I stole it and killed there whole team with just my ult and our team won. It was the craziest comeback in unite history for me

Love it! Yeah Garde is good for crazy flips like that. I had two matches last season where we lost Ray but did a last minute push, and me clefable uniting and getting block allowed my team to score enough to steal the win 😂 I hate that saved replays vanish, cuz they were so hype.

@@CASantosas a gold badge Gardevoir I only learned to use my unite on Zaptos/rayquaza like almost a year ago. Learned it from a Gardevoir who beat our team and stole Zaptos. I was so shocked and was too stunned to speak that ever since then I’ve been doing that as well and I’ve stolen rayquaza/zaptos like 85% of the time because of that

@@mr._jgp my point was that when you break BOTH tier 1 goals at the very beginning of the match, you’re giving the other team the top and bottom indeedees every minute for the remainder of the match. So you get way more catch up experience than if they were to leave the goals up longer.

If you have to choose which goal to break, do top goal, so that you can create a win condition for pushing eleki to base goal, which is basically a free zapdos

Well it actually doesn't apply to this game tbh. Because they destroyed all their goal zone and even after it still keep pressuring the opposition and even taking their farm which was definitely how this game should be played. And also they were still pretty far behind in terms of levels but they died a few times while pushing excessively and that's where that catch up experience came from especially from that talon that died like twice which is the biggest problem with the speedsters. The reason they lost was bcoz their talon was dead at final stretch and the other 4 were scattered, some where in an aggressive position while others at a passive position, both of which were valid options but against garde the passive was the way to go, while jake's team came in together.

I sometimes have those games. Where you getting your ass whooped, and still you manage to win. Great feeling. But, sometimes, when my team are so bad I just want to surrender at 5min. My team sometimes make me so upset, that I would rather end the match right now, than play with them for next few minutes, even if I would win in the end.

Yeah, I'll admit I surrender sometimes. Not just when we're losing, but particularly in those matches where you have those allies who are playing baseball out there while we're trying to play unite.

This goes double with Garde. I might've won the most number of matches where we lost Ray and still outscored in the end with her. Her unite charge is so fast that even if you use it during the Ray fight and lose that, she can get it back in time pretty easily for a last-minute push (as we saw with that last unite).

I personally never surrender. I'm in it to win it or learn along the way hopefully. I ain't no quitter. It does feel real bad when those surrender votes start popping up, because at that point you know some players have already given up. Regardless of whether your team votes the surrender or not, they're done. They've unofficially surrendered and will spend the rest of the game semi-AFK or just go full tilt, int and throw and who cares. Or worse, they're gonna play even worse on purpose because you're not letting them quit the match and they just want out.

A few weeks ago there were like 10 seconds left in the game and we surrendered. We didn’t realize that we actually had more points than the enemy team and we were successfully stopping them from scoring. Actually, I was the only one who didn’t surrender, but I wasn’t mad when it said we surrendered cuz I thought we lost too. That’s the second time that has happened to me.

I had a game the other day where I almost gave up playing Unite ever again. I was in bot lane as Blastoise, trying to hold off 4 of the other team from taking our teir 1 tower before Regi popped up. I look at the map, and my whole team is top for some reason (Regieleki was not up). I'm holding the tier 1 tower the best I can, I just see the kill messages popping up, as their PIKACHU was soloing my entire team at top......I was like WTF?! The rest of the match pretty much went the way you think. The team never moved together, Charizard decided he just wanted to farm creeps and sat at 50 for the entire match. The only player that at least attempted to help was a Gengar, so he and I tried to pretty much snipe objectives to at least try to win. I never surrender, but that match really made me not want to play the game ever again.

My future has been pretty good by NOT playing unite I only see people complaining about match making and how all there favorite mons are pretty much useless compared to a lot of the cast which is true I hop on to play a game or 2 get a bot match for a welcome back just to get all attackers next game and usually I just close out before we even hit the loading screen

If you truly want to win a match that is going miserable, you have to not get tilted. So many players are losing matches because they get tilted and by getting tilted, they make mistakes, don't play correctly, blame their teammates for losing the match and of course troll/throw the entire game. If there's a ray, there's a way. If someone truly wants to win even in bad games, they have to control their emotions and just continue playing the game. It's much easier said than done but sometimes it can be that easy, especially with ray.
