Sprain - New Song (Remastered)

Lamb Buttons presents: the last song from Sprain's album release show, re-edited and remastered.
I've had numerous people message me about a remaster of the entire show. I agree that the audio in the original upload could be cleaner. I was working with the recordings I had prior to 9/6/23, which was just one other full length recording and two recordings of this song.
This is also for the folks interested in its own separate upload, in 1080p... on 6/9/24! I hope the vocals are cleaner; some muddiness comes from whoever ran sound that night. I raised the highs on the three voice memos I have.
I added my usual silly little edits to the visuals, and I removed that distracting computer screen in the bottom right corner of the zoomed out static shots. The entire re-edited and remastered show will be online someday... maybe 9/6/24 for its one year anniversary... I'm not sure yet. It's hard to work on videos right now given my current mental state!

After the first few seconds, I thought, "this sounds a bit like Festival of Dead Deer," which is an old punk band no one has ever heard of. At a minute and a half, I still think it could be in that vicinity. I used to get stoned out of my mind and paint while blaring "The Many Faces of Mental Illness." Don't know if this will be as good, but I'm excited to find out.

@@damanlidison No, no, no . . . I mean one of the other bands named Festival of Dead Deer. Ha! I didn't know they did a split with Crimson Curse! Thanks for cluing me into that. I don't know anything about the band. Somehow ended up with their LP in my extensive punk vinyl collection. I think it must have been in the 90s. Probably bought it from a touring band. Back in the day it was common for bands to trade and sell various bands' merch on the road. That album was the best soundtrack for my manic punk painting journeys.
