Did you get in touch with the chap you bought the if off? I ask, because if he has a mate or recommended mechanic , this mechanic needs to be called out for doing such a bad job. The seller needs never to take his cars for servicing, let alone engine replacement, ever again. Clearly a cowboy job on a lovely car.

This is bob hete in indiana in the us i have hsd a 2001s600 lorinser about 10 years spent about 10k keeping it roadable just turned 90k has been stored and lots of issues ove your channel watch it regularly thx😊

I don't see anything seriously wrong with the C63 aside form those missing engine mounting bolts and the transmission sump. There's just lots of loose ends to tie up from the engine swap and it is in the best place. I'll be binge watching the rest of the C63 videos. It is of similar vintage to my C200 as mine is on a 58 plate too so I knew this was a pre-facelift W204.

I'm pretty sure that Matt at High Peaks Autos would give you a few pointers for the videos. He is always recommending you on his channel. I can see after looking underneath , why it was so cheap. The engine mount bolts being missing would make me worried. Are you taking the engine back out to refit properly? Who fitted the engine?

Question, can you use standard fuel over the premium fuel on these cars, off course knowing your not going to get the full power. Using standard fuel have any sort of effect on the engine mechanically?

My brother bought one brand new-was a total piece of 💩that grenaded itself at 14,000 miles. Engine replaced under warranty-would have cost £23,000 as it’s a (badly) hand built engine. Utter 💩! 🤣
