You have said and shown all I had surmised about how the spray gun should work. But, I have never seen it so ably visualized, Now I feel as if I am getting closer to the "How the heck do I use this thing" stage. Kudos.

The "fan" tip on the Harder & Steenbeck Evolution doesn't produce any kind of fan pattern, just a dot like every other crown tip. That was a waste of money. Just bought a Iwata LPH-50, so I hope I can get better results with that.
