You can buy a lower profile carb style intake with injector bungs and use it with a throttle body elbow. It would give you a ton more room and you can still use your ace kit

This is the first Honda car that I really like. I usually gravitate toward 1950 to 1981 American vehicles. While you were painting I heard Lucky Costa say, "Paint it black and hit the track" in my mind. The Honda should be on a promotional t-shirt.

Go to coil on Plug. Ditch the distributor. Just get a shorter intake and keep the efim I put a Holley sniper on my 69 Datsun 510. I know a dude in NY that did the same, but I believe with an aces EFI. Coil on plug, efi. Looking good

Get a "Crab Cap" for the distributor. Keep the EFI & look for an Accel Super Ram intake, or good ol' TPI from 3rd gen camaro. Other EFI intake options would be C4 era Corvette, or single plane with injector bungs and throttle body adapter.

Instead of a distruber how about LS coil pack to make it sound easy all you need is a good ground and crankshaft postion sensor alotta boys like to do the conversion for more Consistent spark and fly guy points

Use lexan and put a cut out in the windshield for the distributor cap. It with lighten up the car for better speed.

Hey Casey, GunzNButter86 from Massachusetts here, and definitely, most definitely see if AcesEFi has a smaller distributor cap or something else you can use to make that awesome looking efi intake work on this Absolutely BOSS CRX!!!!!!! Cause even though everyone likes carburetors Cause they're easier to work on, EFI is so much better, and if you know what you're doing with tuning it, or know someone that knows what they're doing to tune it, it runs so much better!!!!!! So I say keep the new intake and make it work!!!! You're Casey's Customs!!!!!! You make anything work!!!!

For the distributor problem you could always bring the window up (shorten it ) and build a custom housing for the new distributor. As for housing being where the dash would be, just cut the plastic around it

Casey, stay with EFI, ask Aces EFI for a coil pack type setup. Use the distributor base for a pickup. I would think they can do individual coils

honestly casey i dont expect you to see or read this comment, BUT.... you are building this car for yourself, and you have done SOOOO MUCH work to make this car everything you want it to be, if i were you i would do whatever it takes to make this car WHAT YOU WANT IT TO BE. if you want it to be an EFI car then do the work you need to do to make it an EFI car (i do agree the EFI intake looks insanely awesome), if you dont want the EFI, or you dont want to do what you gotta do to make it EFI, then throw a carb on it. either way its going to be a SICK car, but if i were you i would do the EFI

I would have gone with a lower efi setup, but that one looks pretty sick. So keep it and make a wide kinda boxy hood scoop. Rounded, curvy, or swoopy scoops just wouldn't look right on that car. Maybe something like a classic GTO style...

I'm in KC and couldn't get my RX7 SBC legal or tagged. Engine had to be same year or newer . This was 12yrs ago & may of changed. Your cop buddy might help ya navigate. MO. Don't emission test but something to do with that. I didn't have fuel injection that might make a difference

@@CaseysCustoms it couldn't pass inspection. And kept getting pulled over in Grandview, MO. Ask Richard(cop friend )but it has to do with putting older style engine in newer car. The fuel injection might make the diff. I'm happy to discuss if it helps , just trying to help
