I got that same fan and I buy polyester that is about 5mm thick from Spotlight and secure it when you attach the hose back on just before the fan . Thought I'll share some good cheap filtering tip. Also I have the suction pipe directly above the roof and work a treat. Fan blowing directly outwards to minimise some dust coming in from outside. Great video mate.

I use Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax every month and Turtle Wax ceramic wax & polish every 3 months. Regular wash every week. All my cars paint all smooth and easy to clean.

One thing about the extraction, unless the flexible ducting is fully extended and stretched to the max about half the size inside than it is on the outside. If you rig some hard piping with a rubber hose adapter between the fan and ducting it'll clear alot quicker.

Good job on truck ,at my old shop it was,1000 sqare feet.i put in a box attic fan at the far,back,and set it on the roof.it was a 4 foot box fan.cut the hole as,square same size.bolted it down and tarred it sealed all around.then 4 4x4 legs bolted on,a table top went on those a bit bigger by 10 inches all around square.then put 4 fitting flapps under all around at the 4x4s at the top that flapped opened when i swiched it on.you could feel the airgo by. I even barbeque d in there with the doors cracked a couple inches. No one knew...i put a screen,and a filter wich looked nice. 10 years it worked.then they put a,freeway threw there and i had to moove. P.S. MY ATTIC BOX FAN WAS 4X4 X 1 FOOT THICK SHROUD wich made it nice to stand with walls to itself where it was placed. I bet you would like the new gun lites. the reason for the fan was one nite i tilted a lite bulb with my boot backing up ..the shop was very dence fullwith lac. Clear fumes.hadent i heard the word stop in my head id of kept backin up and died most likely. You couldent see across the room..yep time for a fan.asked of cource the landlord briefly ,shure he said then when he saw it ..the queen marys propeller he said a few colorfull medifores,but it was so nice he admired it i think. I was a bit sneeky.😶

Three coats of some good PPG will look the same as the day you paint it a decade later lots of them don't have any flow you have to blast them and get the exact finish you want as far as the peel goes

Nice one, the haze might be a bit of overspray landing back on it

100% cut and polish, a correction is just a sales tactic 😆😉

Funny how from time-to-time people have to come up with their own "new words" for the same old process isn't it? Cut & buff / Cut & polish now "paint correction" (which sounds more like somehow fixing a bad blend to me). Well to each their own I guess. Another great looking job Gunny!
@LTVoyager2 жыл бұрын
And it really isn’t paint correction, it is painter correction. 😂

What pressure did you spray this at please as I have a lvlp gun and I seem to get orange peel in my direct gloss , mixed at 2 to 1 and 10% thinners.
@TheGunmanChannel2 жыл бұрын
2bar or 29psi. If that doesn't work try adding a bit more thinners

Hey Gunny the Nissan looks great I don't think anyone would know it was painted in a garage rather than a full size booth, the owner should be really happy. I see there are more items in the merch link mate but the spray suits are still not showing up, just thought I should let you know mate as most people would follow the link and not find them and wouldn't bother to search the site, you need all the sales you can get these days mate 🙏👍John UK
@TheGunmanChannel2 жыл бұрын
They are in stock. And I don't know why they aren't showing up for you but I just checked and I can see them. Maybe shoot Chris an email and see if we can get to the bottom of this. Have a good weekend mate
@JohnWD40TC022 жыл бұрын
Yeah I will, if you want I could send you a screenshot of what's showing my end when I click on your Merch link, if I search for "Gunman Overalls" it comes up, I'll try deleting my cookies maybe there is one that's corrupted, very strange 🤦♂️🤷♂️
