You can get lady bugs, and release them after the sun goes down, on your plants. They eat aphids.

i wondered that too because black really attracts heat, jump in my black car on a hot day vs someone else's car with a lighter car and interior. I can run the AC on my black car for ten mins and there still is heat trapped in there. That's a really good idea about white shrinkwrap instead of the black weedblock!

Man the same thing happened with me and the darn string! But I hadn't ever put string on ours. Its an electric one. Took longer to get it going than what I needed to do with it.! Plants look good!
