400 tons is a lot of weight. Aren't you concerned that by putting so much weight in one spot of the planet - where it obviously wasn't before - and by removing it from another area of the planet, you could shift earth's weight across it's rotational axis and increase global warmi .............. sorry, I had too much coffee today.

400 tons is nothing as that can fall in a light rain. 1 foot of water over 1 acre is 1,359 tons so a pond would have a much larger effect on the earth then spreading a little stone around.

Chris is smooth as hell and doesn't waste movement. Watching Tim in this video drove me bat shit crazy. Especially when he kept turning into the pile and getting all those fucking rocks in the sprocket and idler. I ended up having to fire one of my guys cause he wouldn't stop doing this even after I warned him 3 times. I gave him the option to switch to flat-work (scrubbing concrete) but his ego was too far out there so he said no. No sweat off my balls in the end. Nobody is going to tear the shit out of my expensive equipment. I can totally understand why Chris won't let ANYBODY drive his 220.

the time to move it in and out may not offset the time saved doing the job
@silentepsilon8885 жыл бұрын
I am not in this trade too, but my guess is that the orange grader is simply too big for this job. Graders like long straight or slightly curved roads, but they are not very useful on tight turns, narrow roads or in areas like the relatively small parking lot that borders on fences, trees and other landscape that would get torn up by the graders 'overhang'. Remember, the grader's blade is in the center of the vehicle and in order to grade to the edge of the parking lot, the front or rear end would extend several feet outside the parking lot, but there are fences and trees there. Besides, the skidsteer can turn on a dime and move a bucket of gravel to another location in seconds, but trying to turn the grader on this lot to go another direction would be super tight and very time consuming.
