Did a wasteland conquest as these guys once a few months ago. Very good candidate for it with the cheaper cores and strong tech right out the bat. Supposedly there's a rework for them on the burner right now but I'm not in the know for specifics.

If you would like to have a challenge I suggest the ROC in Cold War iron curtain. Though I really won’t recommend it as it is brutally difficult. Though there is a sub mod (cwic: a kuomingtan expansion) that eases it and gives more than (I think) 20 years more content with Chiang Kai Shek. Will try to give a guide but some of it is outdated With Sub-mod: I recommend taking the divisions from Shanghai to around chongqing until you have 72 (x3 24 div)divisions in one army group and assign Li Zongren as field marshal (the most defensive FM)and assign the most defensive generals to the the three armies under his command and have them defend Shanghai (yes and even with that it will be hard). Then take the rest until you have 71 (x2 24 div armies and x1 23 div) and assign them. There is a somewhat brutal debuff with China in this submod but less than the base (-30 dif,att on core territory and some for reorg and one other I forgot.) while the PRC has the opposite (positives) which can be removed from the decisions tab There will be three missions in the decisions tab saying defend x city I forgot how long it is for shanghai but by the time you complete the focus fortify Shanghai there should still be 8 days before the mission finishes it and the others will finish at least 10 days after that. Mainland defence(yes I know Shanghai is mainland but you’ll know what I mean when looking at the map): This submod adds a modifier in some states (prc’s 50s unplanned offensive) which gives a whopping -75% division speed and ground support (attack factor as well), -50% org regain, and MINUS 90% DIV ATTACK. I recommend trying to defend tiles just out side these states (yes these apply to only selected states) or right on the border (the debuff of org regain for some reason does not apply for ROC/player troops.) I can’t really explain how the fallback line should look but the two top right tiles out side of Changsha in all my games I have not been defended as the troops were assigned to Shanghai (also defend Changde in hunan). And after this start building forts go with two forts for normal tiles then 5 for important tiles or the ones getting attacked the the most. Then after all that increase fort level or start building supply hubs in areas that you want to attack from (as supplies are a bi-.)as long as you have civil war fervour (I have not seen it in the spirits but only in the construction tab, it gives +50% construction speed). Shanghai: micromanaging hellhole Assign Li’s army to defend three tiles the right of Hangzhou, the one after that and then Shanghai itself. The middle tile should face considerably less heat from the PRC, any divs that could not make it to Shanghai can go to it by sea. choose fortify Shanghai to remove 10 days from the mission. In the defence the tile next to Hangzhou and Shanghai itself will be under heavy fire with three directions for the left tile and two for Shanghai. The middle when attacked or not should hold relatively well and use it to reinforce everyone else. Congrats you have successfully stopped the darn commies from entering the city! 🎉 woohoo. Now the slog begins Here in Shanghai now you have two options Evacuate or push Evacuate:as name implies. Use the 72 divs (if your lucky) and reinforce the mainland defence Push/breakout (really hard and may not be effective): If you have enough org in the centre (or any tile) tile then try to attack the enemy when there’s a break (breaks can last at times some milliseconds before the next attack so be careful). If you are successful attack almost every tile before the enemy attacks you, if once again you are successful then push harder until nanjing or until there is enough breathing room for your troops. After that attack nanjing, then go south until ningbo or wenzhou (if it is possible). Then halt and allow them to bash their heads against your walls and build forts. The great offensive: now choose whatever you see fit: I have not gotten farther than the mainland defence and evacuation in this sub mod due to how bad your regular units and supplies are. So it’s up to you on how your gonna solve this. Without submod: I’m too tired to care so search on KZbin for better understanding and for some reason breaking out of Shanghai is easier without the submod? So yeah. I might have wasted my time writing this but I don’t care. Have good day and continue making these awesome videos.

I love and hate the Fallout Mod for HoI4. It's One of those mods that intriduces way too many new mechanics that need to be learned and addressed. But I wouldn't have learned about the Heaven's Gate Faction in Fallout if it weren't for this mod. The only thing that would have perfected this video is the usage of Far Cry 5's Songs from Eden's Gate. But I know that wouldn't be an option because of copyright. In general, I love how you use Countryballs and many other games items, soundeffects and easter eggs to visualize the stories you play out. I have always wanted people to do that and the only other person I found who does something similar (excluding all the Countryball Alternate History or Future Channels) is Bokoen. Thank you for your good content. Hope to see you rise even higher. Maybe you'll ascend beyond the heavens into the Void of Space.
