I love it too, I think it's such a great way to make new outfits out of old pieces 🖤 And thank you so much, I actually wasn't sure if this bow look was cute or not, since I haven't accessorized my short hair much thus far - so used to adding hair accessories to long hair haha, it's like starting from zero. What's your least favorite trend/have you spotted any new ones I haven't mentioned? :)

@jemi_ ooooh...well I'd say the colours (especially those darker reds) look great on other people but I like less...I don't have a lot of red in my wardrobe since I wear earthy tones a lot (think a lot of green and brown) I'd like to maybe integrate some more blue in my style though :] tbh I'm pretty secure in my personal style so sometimes I forget to pay attention to what other people are wearing in trends haha! That's why Jemi spots them for me

I love most of these trends, but bows are my favorites! My favorite outfits are the light blues and florals! The only trends I won't be wearing are extraordinary and sporty chic.

Yessss, the bows are such a good style hack especially if you don't have much going on with the outfit otherwise 🎀 I'm very excited for light blues and florals, especially since they're also easy to thrift 😊 and sporty chic is definitely not everyone's cup of tea haha 🍵

for the pink dress I would remove the chest lining and replace it with a wider one that fit your body better. You could cut it out of a cami with a self bra. Depending on how it is sewn into the top of the dress, would determine whether I would seam rip it or just cut it off with enough fabric left for seam allowance to sew the self bra too.

Thank you so much for the advice! I've been wearing a sticky bra underneath it thus far, but perhaps I can thrift a cami! It looks like I should be able to just cut it off, the lining goes all around the dress - would you cut just the front or back too? It's a shame they have to make these ridiculously small linings haha

@@jemi_ Without being able to see the actual construction of the dress and without knowing the fiber content it's very hard to tell you some method would work for certain. My best guess is to recreate what is in there but in a longer version. Cutting it off would be easy but it gives little coverage or support. However, f you cut it off with enough fabric for seam allowance left in place, you can try it out. Wearing it like that for a bit and if you like it then you can go back in and trim off the excess. If it's not what you hoped for, then recreate the self bra. If you do it only in front then you would need to secure the lining to the side of the dress in some way.

I'll take this idea to my mom (who thankfully has fixed some of my clothes in the past, but we literally live in different continents now lol) and ask her about the stitching and go from there! I hope I can DIY it to fit me better, it's such a lovely dress otherwise💕
