Spring at South Coast Botanic Garden

Come along with us s as we tour the gorgeous gardens of the South Coast Botanic Garden in Rancho Palos Verdes for the first time. Right now, the rose garden looks and smells spectacular while you can also visit beautiful tropical butterflies at the SOAR exhibit for just $6 more along with admission. This garden is large at 87 acres but a tram is available to drive you around the perimeter of the property. This is well worth a visit to the South Coast Botanic Garden outside Los Angeles, California.

I believe the yellow tree is tabebuia serratifolia. There is also the pink version as well which I’m sure you see a lot too. Their common name is trumpet tree I believe. Forsythias don’t do too well on the west coast.
