These videos make me laugh and laugh. My father was a RR engineer (freight trains), and I always think of him when I watch them. Not sure how he would have responded to a giant cat on the tracks, however. It's just so darn funny and that cat is beautiful and plays his part perfectly. Thanks for sharing your little slice of heaven.

How do you keep the water from shorting out the track? Do you have problems with blown transformer's? How does this thing work?

Water does not cause any problems at all and there are no special precautions necessary for that. There is 22V AC power on the rails.

Ich weiß. Auf eingleisigen Strecken stehen sie aber einfach da, wo man sie besser erkennt. Zumindest bei der RhB wird das so gemacht. Da findet man viele Signale rechts vom Gleis. Also meine "falschen" Signale auf der Strecke sind durchaus "erlaubt". 😉 Im Bahnhof stimmt das alles nicht, wie ich es gemacht habe, das ist richtig. Aber das hat einfach Platzgründe.
