My fiancé and I learned more about tents in the first minute of this video that we ever acquired in life. You are a treasure of knowledge Sir. With the fire mat, would it make sense to turn it 45 degrees into a diamond shape to get you more protection on the floor out in front of the stove? Idk, just wondering.

Oh thank you so very much for the kind words my friend. Make no mistake, when you see this fireplace st up at deer camp, it will be in a diamond shape, I love that idea, thank you so much for that as well as the kind words. Thank you so very much and I hope you have a blessed weekend. Dale

Great video Dale, thanks for taking the time to give us all this great information. This tent is something we are really considering for our camping adventures once Karen retires. We had been thinking of a small teardrop camper but then if we went this route we could trailer the 2 kayaks with us as well. Thanks again, hope you have a blessed weekend my friend. Don

Yes sir, I completely understand and you can already see the writing on the wall with us and our kayaks as well. It will be so much easier to set this up and I wont need two vehicle to get us to the lake, I am looking forward to those amping days as well. Thanks again for the kind words and I hope you have a blessed weekend. Dale

Great video Dale. I used to pack on horseback into Colorado a similar size Cabela’s canvas wall tent and collapsible wood stove that I built. It was heavy and I had to cut my poles from trees at camp. Your tent and stove is the best setup I’ve seen by far. The company should put a link to your video because as the previous subscriber mentioned, I learned more in five minutes than the years I spent by trial and error. Looking forward to your videos from deer camp. Have a blessed weekend my friend! Brandon

I ponder if a pair of welders gloves would be useful just in case you had to mess with the stove while it was still a little hot?

Great video! Been looking at this tent and stove. Great info on the rain cover over the spark arrestor. How about the vent holes that are in the double insulated pipe section? Especially with it being at that angle, can rain water enter through those and then out the bottom straight into the tent?

I had the same thought as you on it potentially leaking water during the rain. So here is what I did to eliminate that work. I placed a small piece of regular old remolds wrap tenfoil just over the top and used it kinda like a rain cap. I didn’t have any water come into the tent. I hope what I am describing makes sense. I will do a short video on it next November when I am there for my two to three week camp. Thanks for the kind words. I will say this. It is an awesome tent and stove combo makes it so much funner. With the stove there is plenty of room for two guys and all the junk you would want for hunting or fishing and room for Buster the Pup. There was several nights last year I think we had as many as 4 guys in the tent with the fireplace going in eating dinner. Good times I tell ya. Thanks again and keep us posted if you end up getting one. Have a blessed week. Dale.

@@HeartlandMakesAndOutdoors Thank you good sir, great info! I think I'm sold on this setup. I like the idea of using foil on the insulated pipe section in case of rain. You have an excellent channel. Very descriptive and informative! Thank you for sharing your experiences!

Man now that’s a great setup brother I really like that! How long does it take to set everything up? If your going to do long stretch camping then that definitely would be the way to go. Awesome job on the video, I’m going to have to checkout that spray. Hope y’all have a great weekend and a successful season in the woods and on the water!

If you haven't been using sawyers, I would strongly suggest it. I use it on all my hunting clothes and spray my jeans etc when I am bank fishing, boots, sleep bag etc. It really does work, just dont spray it on your skin like off, not designed for skin contact and perk on clothes it last up to 6 washes. Tent sets up pretty quick. I would say if I was rushing I could have the tent set up in less than 10 minutes and another less than 10 on the stove. It looks like a lot more pieces that it is, but they all slide together and go much quicker than it may appear in the video. I will do a video when I get to deer camp this year and show from start to set up and run a stop watch and see what we come up with on set up time. I can assure you if it was raining, I could do it quicker hahaha. I hope you have a blessed weekend my friend. Dale
