I grew up with these and always enjoyed in middle TN in our yard. Now that I have my own place, I found some to transplant from around the neighborhood into my yard. They have spread some, but are not in as large of clumps as I would have hoped. I try not to mow them down in the spring when they are still active. I think my grass is out competing them and I'm thinking of better places I could move them to.

I’ve been wondering what these are! I see them growing at the park down my street (I live in Medina county). How do you collect the seeds?

I've never collect them I just let them self sow.
