Great vid, good to see how close to the original the recipe gets you there. Cheers 🍻

Yea I’ve brewed clone recipes before that were way off. It’s cool when you find one that’s spot on without any adjustments.

Looks good man! Would love to see you try an English style like a best bitter. Nothing wrong with trying clones. As you say they give you a good base to work from. Have to love brewdog for putting all their recipes online.

Awesome video's Ricky, Got my equipment cleaned today and brewing the sierra Nevada tomorrow. Thanks for the tip using the clarity ferm. I'll be trying it for the first time. Siphoning is my worst nightmare. Everything goes great until you get to the bottom of the fermenter trying to get that last drop then..... well, you know.... Going to pick up the bouncer from Atlantic brew supply when they open back up.......be safe and I enjoy your videos

The bouncer works like a dream. I’d say spring for the Mack Daddy because if you aren’t cold crashing the regular bouncer gets clogged on beers with a lot of hops. Let me know how your Sierra Nevada Pale Ale turns out.

If you can find the clone for barrilitos Mexican beer please let me know it's a damn good light lager. I drink it in Mexico Everytime I go on vacation. Greetings from the beaver state

Looks like a great brew! Great job. Did you consider using whole cone hops as the original recipe called for? If so, how much of a difference do you think it would have made at the end?

I'm going to give this a try in a few months. I have a brown ale scheduled to brew this weekend and a saison next. Luckily I have 6oz of whole cone Cascade just looking for a beer.

Good vid mate, I had a crack at this recipe too when they released it. Mine come out a little darker than theirs too.

Looks like a great beer. Sierra is my all time favourite. Anything you would change for a future brew?
@fantasticfermentations56374 жыл бұрын
I would dry hop it. I like a little more hop character in the aroma. Still a great beer though. Thanks for checking out my channel! I will check out your brew day when you post.

If you would brew this again, either to get it closer to Sierra Nevada Pale Ale or just to adjust the recipe to taste, what would you change?
