Damn this tutorial is so good. Probably the best out there for this particular topic Spring Boot and Mockito. Most of the video courses on this are paid and if you like watching videos to learn you can feel a bit lost. Particulary I found in28minutes content to be a bit scattered and this was much more well organized and logical!!

I agree with chyekre... This is not one of the best, but THE BEST video related to spring testing in KZbin . On a side note; try to expand the video by adding ReflectionTestUtils, in memory db and Web layer unit testing. Thanks for your time and effort for making such a wonderful video.. cheers 🖐

while i've just started using spring, i feel i should add that last tip may present an issue with the design, because usually network calls use other collaborators that you would otherwise inject, and that THESE collaborators should be controlled via mocking as well.

At 16:00 we have mock of the TaxRateService and at the same time we have instance of TaxRateService injected directly into TaxService - so which of them is actually used?

why do we need to inject TaxRateService in the test class at 7:05 - it is not used? Would it be enough to have it injected in TaxService as a few seconds before?
