Every time I go to wryeside I blank on the carp caught some lovely monster tench on match lake but yet to catch a carp in the carp lakes, the place is always jam packed with tons of bait being put in great job catching in there wish I could, I am going again in October hopefully I’ll get one but wouldn’t dare hold my breath ✌🏻🎣

Amazing video lads! I fish a deep quarry (25ft+). How would you approach a colder water this time of year? I have blanked twice in the past 2 weeks despite some fish showing. Any advice at all.

Good question! Personally I would start with zigs in the upper thirds of the water column or margin fishing at this time of year if the sun is up. For zigs try our Jungle Mix enzyme liquid as it really clouds up the water and use our booster liquid on your foam.

I love the orange and yellow, but I won't overlook a match the hatch approach. Sometimes I feel when the majority of anglers use the hi Vis baits throughout winter the more wary fish may slip up to a more subtle approach
