One Mom tip I have used forever is to walk around the vehicle while it is filling with gas and pick up what I can reach to toss in the garbage at the gas station. We’ve always used the door storage as a place for garbage (wrappers and dry stuff, not sticky or gooey stuff, but that was learned). My girls learned to check their areas when we pulled in for gas and tell me that they had garbage for me to collect, so it was kind of a game. It didn’t solve all the problems, but helped keep my car garbage free.

I guess I am lucky. My 17.5 yr old son loves our car and truck so he washes them once a week and he changes oil, tires, a transmission, and he cleans them both out daily. I am blessed. You are blessed too. Happy Mother’s Day honey. God Bless

Tip: carry a bin/plastic basket around the car to throw all the little things in, that way there aren’t a million and a half things on the lawn and when you feel up for it sort it all out!

You have given me so much motivation to make changes to my home, buy some gadgets (a cableless vacuum cleaner - not a Dyson! too expensive for me, and matching boxes and baskets to store all those bits and pieces that any house seems to collect) and clean more and better!
