I love this and always love seeing another artist’s process. I agree with your observations about people loving the Beatrix Potter/Brambly Hedge style and have seen the same response. Cottagecore IS a “modern” aesthetic. But, if you’re like me, you were cottagecore before it had a popular name. Haha Good luck with your flowers! I’m ready for spring too!

Wonderful to see the thumbnails and then you doing the pencil sketch on the watercolor paper before doing the inking and the watercolor. Oh, by the way I really liked the finished work.
