The poor guy never wanted to jump. Just was high up to enjoy the view, but the crowd demanded blood. The guy pushed him because he feels he knows what it better for him. Group dynamics are so fascinating. There is even a concept regarding men in groups. It goes that individually, men are rational and mindful. But once you get a group of them together, the risk of bodily injury greatly increases. I really appreciate how you take the time to try and analyze and find the deeper meaning.

15:00 - Till/the narrator of the song justified his actions by saying he pushed the guy off to redeem him of his shame (of being too scared to jump), so now they're all acting like Till did the guy a favour by "helping" him do what he couldn't on his own. It is a fantastic song! ..on the "all same faces" subject, i think it was 2 things..praticality and visual effect... for faster creating army of spectators, and edit all..control all this persons while creating video, would be unecessary complicated if they were all different..and the effect worked better even, and made more sense, as all equal..
