Thanks for educating people about there being no point in releasing gill/deephooked fish! I see to many videos of people releasing trout bleeding from the gills that will not survive may as well have a lunch out of it.

Please tell me what rapids these were I’ve been fishing Algonquin every year for brookies and I can catch them surrounding the park all over but have never managed to find a single trout in the park

Medium Light for myself! Generally I use Light to medium depending on trolling or casting!

@@TheAverageJoesFishingShow You're so right on that . A whole generation of 'older' guys need to go single hook and barbless plus get sensitive to the waters they are fishing . If you're in the back 40 of Algonquin and good numbers are biting then keeping a bleeder is fine . But more heavily fished lakes got to be c and r . PS i cut hooks with mini side cutters that look tough to extract .
