I don’t get why she made you last because of Maple being too strong. An eq class is based on the rider not the horse. Kinda dumb in my opinion.

I think Clara said it’s because maple being strong kind of ruined her eq + she is pretty bouncy as Clara said but still I do agree that she didn’t deserve last

Yeah, her reason was her being too strong which is dumb because that would happen occasionally in hunter classes, but eq is on the rider?

I LOVE barn shows! They're just a lot less stressful, in my opinion! I think you did AMAZING! You shouldn't of gotten last in equitation class tho... Eq is for the rider, not the horse. Love your videos! keep slaying girly! Edit: Small tip, You're leaning a bit too far forward. I used to do it too, but you just need to remind yourself: "Shoulders back and sit straight up" It helps with balance A LOT and it will make riding a bit easier. Just wanna help you, and other than that your riding looks amazing

First, I just want to say I've been waiting for a show video. Sooo glad you posted one for us to see!! Hope you do more shows, whether you video them or not! I have never taken lessons, so definitely talk to your trainer, but it looked like you were really forward. Not just your shoulders, but your seat was really forward on the pommel. It looked like you were about to fall forward on Maple's neck. That might be why you weren't posting very high. Just comparing your position to previous videos, when your shoulders are in line with your hips, and your ankles line up underneath them, you sit your canter and trot best. But again, talk to your trainer if you haven't already. Sorry about the hyper focused analysis of your riding skills, but I'm very active and into fitness and I'm very aware of my own biomechanics, not just in martial arts but ballet and other sports. I'm planning to take riding lessons soon, so I've been studying your videos and others to help me get prepared so I know what I'm getting myself into :) Thank you so much for all the content you post!!!!

Hii!! Yes I was definitely riding quite forward on this day. I’m really glad I had so much footage to watch cuz it really brought that to my attention 😂 I’m making sure to fix this for my next lesson! My barns barn shows aren’t that advanced lol we only do one class! For my spring show I had to ride a different horse because the horse I usually ride can’t be ridden but we still did well! You did so well!

Yayy a show vlog! I wasn't expecting that and it was a nice surprise! I think it was unfair that you got the 6th place in the fist round and I'm not surprised at all that you got 1st in jumping! I'm also preparing for my second and third show in my life! Not jumping cuz to be honest Im kinda scared to jump, its stressing me out (its all fine until im in front of a jump and there Im like: what if I dont make it... That is scaryyy. Last time I was jumping, around two months ago, we did a 75cm jump and it was scary enough) Anyway next week Im taking part in TREC competition and then next weekend I will have my first western show (Cowboy race which is an polish only competition. It's like western trail but you need to do things really fast) Okay enough of my rambling, cant wait to see your other vlogs!

It can be scary for sure but it’s one of those things that you need confidence to do because you need to be able to give your horse confidence. Hey Clara I actually rode peanut Thursday and I do lessons I’m not as in advance as you and I think she’s still learning I don’t think she’s jumping or or countering yet actually fell off because she tripped so she definitely still in training I was actually the first person to ride her in a lesson

Doesn’t it hurt your back sitting so far forward in the trot? Your heels should be in line with your shoulder’s so maybe the fact you lean so far forward could be why your balance isn’t the best?

I was definitely riding too forward on this day, mmm only sometimes do I notice a very slight ache in my back and yes that’s usually a good indication that I’m riding too forward !
