I really like the voiceover, I think it's more calm than the alternative. Also, I get a lot of visual triggers, and somehow the 5 edited plant photos on top of the bark really did it for me 😂

Gardener here. I think for the space in your garden you are planting wayyyy to few plants. For example: if you want the Cookie monster hill to look full grown in a year, you have to at least plant 5 - 7 clusters of these lilac plants, otherwise the hill will never grow over. So let's say 5 clusters of 3-5 plants at least! Don't plant single plants, they are not enough for the amount of soil space you have. 😉 Also the plants in clusters will provide shadow for the other ones so the soil, especially on a hill will not dry out so fast.

My neighbors in Oklahoma had huge honeysuckle bushes in their front yard. Many years old and easily taller than the fences. IT SMELLED SO AMAZING. I’m not sure if you have but you may want to check out buying lady bug and praying mantis eggs/ babies and putting them in your garden! They help eat aphids and are so cute and sweet to find!

Pots turned out beautifully! Love your garden updates (we are about 40 min away so similar plantings). If you have a boggy area maybe consider Japanese iris? If you like combo fruit trees I highly recommend the all pluot ones. They do well here, have fewer headaches than the peach and apricot, and the harvest is staggered through the summer.

Your gardens are beautiful!! I love this type of video. I am slowly building up my gardens since moving into our house 3 years ago and between droughts and freezes, it's been tough. I'm in zone 9a and have been planning some of the same plants you picked and glad to get some other ideas from your garden. I love maples and would like to find somewhere in my yard to add some.
