"If it had to happen, it didn't go that bad." You'd know he's a farmer with that attitude. You really do just have to take things as they come.

Omfg its corn why just stop with the corn its such a unsustainable farming crop and over 40% is made into ethanol gas in America for the car. I don't feel for him he has the biggest Subsidized crop from the government
@jeffjefferson33642 жыл бұрын
@@thesilentone4024 you'll not be saying that after this summer 🤣🤣 you'll be asking how the government didn't intervene to ensure crop production was maintained 🤣🤣 nitrogen is $1000/ton. Sustainability or not we are looking at a 15-20% reduction in food production this year because of the ukraine conflict. Enjoy 🤣🤣

@@jeffjefferson3364 I have 3 acers to farm myself. Oh I must I mention if farms go organic and no till then thell use less gas less fertilizer less water and make more food.

@budgetbuilt88382 жыл бұрын
@@thesilentone4024 yeah but as far as I know there's a period between going organic that can hit farms hard. The faze where you farm it as organic (more expensive to maintain) but can't sell it as organic because they need to be organic for 3 years or something like that to be able to sell it as organic and get the organic prices

Never gave it a second thought just like the other 99.99%-so no, not really. Fact is, you're just morally bankrupt as your lack of shame/conscience denotes. you cant beat the attitude of an old farmer. hes been through some shit on that farm and its obvious when he says "if it had to happen it didnt go that bad" that is a man who knows it couldve been worse but is grateful that it didnt. put your average 30 something male in that spot and watch the rage ensue as his grain silo tips over.

We actually run an excavating/Demo company, and are called on to take silos down, mostly with an excavator/track hoe. Over the last 44 years in business, there have been a few dangerous/nerve racking experiances with silos.

One year I had just got down from an old wooden square grain bin, about 25 ft. High, about 15 steps away from the ladder I heard some cracking, looked around and it started blowing out and fell over, could’ve went for a good ride if I was still up there. Good thing you were there to watch it come down and warn traffic.

My father was pushing corn in a bunker silo, an the pile was way above sides. They did chores that night an milked the cows. Came in the next morning and the old wooden sides had let go. Just never know.
