i grew up by Lake Superior… never warms up. you walk out knee deep, come back, and it takes 30 minutes for your legs and feet to warm back up. watching you take that dip reminded me of old times… Great content Helene.

Heline - you are nutsy-crazy going into that icy cold water like that - though I know it is a thing that people from your country do. I like the country at your Aunt's house. And your camper/trailer looks very nice. Thanks for showing us your trip.

I am in Florida, I live 1/2 mile from the Gulf of Mexico. Water temps are about 80 degrees Fahrenheit already, will be 86-88 by end of summer! You are brave plunging into that water!

I visited with my sister in Vermont for like 5 days last year, and it was great. Liberating. Other than those five days, I haven't left my city in years. I need to get out for a while. Sleep outside. Go swimming. I don't know...do nature stuff. I need fresh air and lightning bugs.

Hi Heline, we've been out camping last weekend. Some 200km south of Hamburg, Germany. 12°C in the night. It was O.K. Rule of thumb down here is: 100km south, the spring is one week further. So: your spring is still almost winter for us: haha! Thanks for sharing! Such a beautiful place!

What do you think of the Zoom Q8? I have had mine for 5+ years. Great camera for music. Many times I run 2 Ear Trumpet Labs mics and turn the on board mics off. Using the separate WAV file are great to import into any DAW. Love your Vids. ❤

Spring is teasing us here - what I fear is that once again we will go from cold/miserable to hot/miserable with very little in between. No snow left here at my elevation, but still some up higher in the mountains. Nights in the 45F range and days maybe low 60sF with a few days nicer so far. I've been able to get out for a few longer walks when it was one of the nicer days, and maybe this weekend I will risk buying some basil and pepper plants for some potted growing this summer. Basil pesto from your own grown plants is heaven!

Incase she does not say so. Yes. Her dogs do mostly Finnish but they easily pick up on English when it is of their interest. ie food.

@@michaelfrank2266 Ha ha ha! Funny you should mention that! My old dog could understand the word "walk" in at least 5 different languages (English, Italian, Greek, Russian & Finnish). I often wondered if he was a mind reader... 😆
@HelineFay Жыл бұрын
My dogs mostly do Finnish but as mentioned, they've picked up some words in English! I think they mostly understand the tones of the speech though.
