Spring Into Mixed Media

Thank you so much for another very helpful video, Juliana! You could have made this much shorter, but it’s all your helpful tricks & suggestions along the way that really makes your videos so wonderful! I particularly loved seeing how you made all the colored papers, very clever & fun! I have gone from never inking the edges to inking every edge & I have now settled somewhere in the middle where sometimes I do & sometimes I don’t! I have played with lots of different colors of inking & that’s what I really enjoy about inking now! It doesn’t always have to look aged & grungy! Sometimes I look at a card & wonder how many techniques did the artist use to make the background so I’m grateful that you show us that it’s not so tricky, rather it’s a lot of layering & drying in between! I look forward to seeing more videos from you! Erica❤

Love the card and yes ink the edges. How long does it take for the embossing paste to dry generally?

It depends on the humidity level where you live and how thick you apply it. but I’d say about 30 minutes.

😂 I usually work on my embellishments…do some die cutting or stamping or coloring while I’m waiting.
