John, I've seen a lot of your videos. You provide such insightful reviews that it's challenging to decide on the right product. As an Iowa resident, we experience all four seasons. However, I'm seeking a pre-wash, soap, and wax solution. Although some anticorrosion materials may not be effective, there is often significant rust accumulation in wintertime vehicles.

After applying the fusso wax, when the car needs cleaning can i still snow foam, rinse then two bucket hand wash? I use AG products for this. Also best way to remove years of crap from the barrels of my alloys (second hand car just purchased). Love your channel Jon.

yer just wash mate will be 100% fine. barrel. start with perhaps BH autowheels. if that cant shift it then try a stronger acid like wonder wheels. good barrel brush is important EZ brush the big american one is good shout.

Hi John, excellent video very useful vid , ive notice the windscreen protection product i find its very oily on the screen i done everything used there compound washed it off and then put the product on let it to dry to a haze then let it to cure for 12 hours did yours do that

Hi Jon , been following you for a while now and your advice is pretty spot on from what pre wash to use to a ceramic detailer etc , i brought Gyeon wetcoat after watching a video you done and that stuff is amazing and Titan phoenix detailer is great also . I have used the fusso wax a few times and the first washes it beads like it should but over several months i found it to do nothing no beading or sheeting so not sure if it was still on the car and protecting it . I did do a decon on the car first .

you will get degredation mate. I did a video a while back caled like 27 sealants and waxes on a hood. something like that. shows a whole load of rate products and how they all fare over time. they all loose hydrophoibic performance not rapidly but lets say none are zinging (you get me with zinging right :) ) none have the zing after a few months. But if you want zing then you need to find a turbo charged drying aid and tp up protection when you dry to keep the zing going. Fusso boost will do that. The bazooka product will also do that. this is where the water based stuff can be used. just dont overdo it mate or you can get filming issues or compatilbility things etc..

What will be the best process for applaying mirror shine after fusso coat few months prior? Washing and chemical decontamination with deiron, or sth else? Would you advise tar remover as well? I'm wondering if it'd weaken the fusso base

Just wash m8. De tar if there's tar not by default.

Hi Jon, need your help! What car shampoo do you recommend, Bilt Hamber auto wash or Car Chem 1900:1? Both good but if you had to pick one what would it be? Thanks

1900:1 won my best shampoo video. I think AW came second I love AW but lots dont like the fact its low foaming at the low dose concentration. there you go mate. but get the car chem 5 litre when its on sale. Also look at autoglym trade shampoo 5 litres.

Auto wash is good but as Jon said, low foaming. It’s perhaps not as enjoyable as others. It will also clog up the bottle it comes in so becomes hard to take out of the bottle in the right quantity. Don’t use it in a canon like I did otherwise it’ll clog it up. Car chem is the best from Jon’s video, gyeon bathe also scored highly on his test.

Is there an alternative applicator for fusso coat as the one I have is difficult to apply. I’ve tried it damp or dry but made no difference sadly.

Hi Jon. I have bought some professional 125mm pads for my Makita 18v orbital sander (cleaned up to like new condition) as I don’t want to shell out massive expense on a dedicated da. Any tips on the process? I understand it has an extremely short throw and won’t cut like a dedicated da but I think it will work well for my needs. I’m a big fan of yourself and Soft99 and have quite a few of their products.

M8 i don't think it will work. It will need an 8mm throw and the plate needs to spin. My orbital sander just stalls. Might be ok for laying out sealant or wax. Get cheap da9 from Imran.

Which one step polish would put down the best base for Fusso Coat pls John? Your favourite- Rupes Uno? Or something else? Great content BTW. I’m just getting into it and managed to get an original formula Fusso Coat light, plus Mirror shine to layer up after watching some of your older vids. Bare prep for FUSSO m8. Pure polish then degrease than apply m8. 😁😁😁

I'm about to buy a new wax Jon and was thinking about BH double speed wax. Would you recommend Fusso over that or the other way round...maybe there is no preference? cheers, Jason.

Depends what your budget is. Fusso can go to mid to high £20s. Even low 20s from what I’ve seen. DSW used to be £15.99 but now is closer to £20. You get a lot of wax for your money though. Jon has put a new review of DSW on his list to do.

@@Jason_1010 I’d agree Fusso is better but you’d expect it to be because it’s the more premium and expensive product. Mirror shine on top of it would make a car pop for sure. DSW has been known to “bloom” in the warmer summer months. Perfect winter wax though.

@@Jason_1010 good shout. Wax is subjective though in terms of preference. You can’t go wrong with either. But if you work outside, Fusso durability is so important because you can’t buy a good day in the UK.

i dont put wax with hands anymore... you can use mashine to put it on :P 20min and car is waxed.

Jon, please do a video about a company that you used to recommend on some video, County Detailing Supplies, they took preorders money from customers and then close the website and still refunded anyone after all this time.

mate I cant delve the channel into that. I can never verify any of the info. I dont think it would help anyones plight. if the company has gone under there might be literally no one there handling orders or reading emails. it might literally be dead. But feel free to share more info its just not something I can get involved in and im really sorry to hear about this.
