@@FishingTheOdds Hey Alex.. I lived in Irrigon. Oregon years ago fished at Dam Hermiston? I also fished on Umatilla River a couple times also Steelhead drift boat on Wilson River . Recent years fished Pacific City... Nestuccah.. caught my first Chinook off bank at landing there. Also anchored fish in Columbia River above Portland.. caught nice hatchery there. 25 ft sled.. guide out of Dallas Oregon. also fished out in ocean trolling out of Newport. Oregon.. Silver Salmon.. limit and Rock fish jigging limit.. I love Oregon.. tough getting brhere from S. C., sometimes..., 🤠✋

Buzz is right on with his comments on the Snake Dams. Look at how productive the Hanford Reach is just around the corner. We could see a huge increase by removing the dams.

Grew up around Buzz when he was sponsored by Luhr Jensen. My aunt was a Jensen and we’d go down to the plant (Luhr Jensen’s) and get fishing tackle hot off the line, seen Buzz and a lot of other greats down there. One of these days hopefully I run into you being that you fish all the same places as I do. Hometown Hood River.

I wish the Yakima river basin would get more coverage by these legends. There’s no reason why this eastern cascade river system isn’t pumping out the salmon and steelhead like other systems that Buzz talks about. Bill and Jarod live and work amongst the Yakima river system. It’s time to bring live catch brood stock programs to the Yakima and it’s tributaries.

Ask Mr Ramsey about the decline of the Green Duwamish River in Washington state. I actually watched The decline of some of the biggest steelhead ever In this state that river and the White Stuck River now you're lucky to catch a fish in a season. The salmon run went All to the Chum run except the white it' gets all the pollution fish. But getting a 20+ outta these two rivers along with the Puyallup and carbon. There is ZERO STEELHEAD. MAIN reason. To much netting and international fishing along with Oh about 8,000 California sea lions. Get rid of those and the cormorants those birds related to duck's and you'd see as Big change in fish population's

@@FishingTheOdds Actually we do every season about the end of June the water starts to drop on the green, but The other two have no dam. And the white does. And they have plenty of water coming out of them, My thought they let the California sealions and the comments population get out of control plus to Many Indian net's and the fact that international waters are free to fish for the world right? AND we got governor Gay Inslee in office hasn't done anything for this state. I myself am about done with buying a fishing license reason shortening season's on every turn never know anything New because they don't come out with the fishing regulations until everything opens. AND now you have to buy individual tags cards For fishing besides buying a New One Incase you fill your first one. Pay to much getting less and less every couple years.

you got that right about the green! Sadly there’s few steelhead that run up but still can get one if you pound it. My dad has a 26.3Lb steelhead from the green on the wall from 2001. Truly a trophy.
