Bro... At 48.28 minutes.. why the form action is login... After hitting submit we have to go to Home page right... Then we have to give action = " / " only bro... Pls reply.. I can't understand it bro

Sir In customised login form tutorial , In login jsp we put action="login". So where control will navigate after we clicked on login.

Hello, thanks for the tutorial. I was trying it on STS and I have one question here. If the user clicks on the "home" link on the "logout" page then they should be taken through the "login" page again. But the code shown in this video lets the user go to the home page directly from the logout page when the user clicks on the "home" hyperlink on the logout page. Could you please clarify? Thanks in Advance.

In the configure method, is it possible to specify that user can access my home page however they'll also be able to access the same page when logged in. Currently because I've put /home in the permit all ant matchers section, the login page just redirects them to the home page without checking the users details as if they are accessing the page as a guest user.

Hi, is there a way to turn off the /logout for non-logged users in spring-security configuration? By default even a non-logged user can access the /logout url and logout.

When I tried this, I'm trying to connect to H2 in Memory DB instead of MySQL. That is not an issue, but when I give localhost:8080, no more the login page is displayed. It directly displays the JSP Page. Any reason why?

The method logoutRequestMatcher(RequestMatcher) in the type LogoutConfigurer is not applicable for the arguments (AntPathMatcher)

where and how is the AuthenticationProvider bean used? I do not believe we use it, we just register it. so I assume the Spring framework uses it under the hood. Is there a way to see how it is used?
