Couldn't you take a pressure washer and clean that under part off?
@PaulsPrimeCuts Жыл бұрын
Yes and no a high pressure one might push water and dirt into seals … plus getting all that fertilizer wet kinda makes it more corrosive … that being said I usually blow it off with compressed air and wash it with a regular water hose

I feel ya on the warm season grasses- they don’t know what the hell to do with the weather this spring. Question on your sprinklers- How would you say the coverage area and volume of water put out on those compares to the green tripod impact sprinklers you see at Lowe’s?
@PaulsPrimeCuts Жыл бұрын
The seed buster line will put out more volume than the tripod impact sprinkler and cover a big area … I’d have to measure to give you an accurate answer. I like the home made jobs way better than the tripod ones
@RussC123 Жыл бұрын
@@PaulsPrimeCuts Good to know- thanks man. Might have to give it a try and compare. My 4 impacts are good but I have a good size yard so I have to run each “zone” for like 2 hours or so to get down any measurable amount of water.

We had the same kinda weather for our warm season grasses . It was devastating and is just now starting to recover. Good video man! How is your knee doing? Looks like you're still limping a bit.

Thanks for asking we are still working on getting the knee back in service. Hopefully the grass will get straightened out with some warm weather

Rust and powdery mildew was as bad as I have ever seen it. Usually a spoon feeding, some sun and mow clears it up. It hung on good this year!

My KBG has rust the worst this year I have ever seen . Just walking around my lawn my shoes become covered in rust color. I have also noticed the neighbors yards have more clover this year than the past few years. Oh well that's mother nature.

Hey Paul is Tall Fescue a good grass for southern climate?
@PaulsPrimeCuts Жыл бұрын
It takes a lot of extra effort to make fescue work in the south…. Watering fungicide etc it’s not usually the first choice

Hay Paul I have another question for you… where do you send your soil samples for disease testing? I have a yard with centipede decline even in spots with good PH. Bad yellowing and dead patch

@PaulsPrimeCuts Жыл бұрын
With tall fescue Bermuda doesn’t blend well aesthetically I wouldn’t recommend that. Low cut KBG and Bermuda are sometimes mixed to have winter color in the Bermuda this is a trend called bluemuda…. I don’t think it’s all that great either
