Her shampoo and conditioner were both under 3 euro??? 1USD= .93 euro Girl that shampoo and conditioner is $10-$12 in America. The glycolic gloss that was 9 euro is $28 in America. That micellar water was 3.75 euro but is $8.99 in America. The dove spray deodorant that was 2.25 euros is over $7 in America. Watching this video I was SHOCKED at how CHEAP everything was.

as a european i’ve been thinking about this too. dgmw, we are struggling out here, especially as students. skincare is certainly a luxury, but it’s noticeably more expensive in the US and i have no idea why. i would’ve thought it would be cheaper since most companies are over in the US, but maybe it’s due to overseas production. idk. it’s really weird

Have you looked at other markets that have a lower affordable price? I know that in the United States everything is expensive, but everywhere there is always a market with the same products but at different prices.

As an former exchange student from America I can assure that - I was shocked how expensive hygiene products are (like for example dove products that are so super cheap here cost around 6-7$ only for a body wash or deodorant.. nobody would pay that much for a dove deodorant here..) and how the same brands cost the double or sometimes even triple amount than in Germany - therefore gas is super cheap compared to European countries BUT the best properties & land ..America middle class homes in average neighborhoods (when you aren’t in Newport or California) are SO cheap Compared to European real estate standards.. for around 600k US dollars you get a huge home that woul cost over 2 Million in European countries bc they built better quality homes made out of stone not wood and there are stupid safety standards that make everything so expensive (like super expensive windows etc whereas the us doesn’t have „real“ glass windows that way) when it’s so safe .. they should built those stone homes in Florida where they have hurricanes almost every week and not here.. in America you can simply hit a home trough a wall bc its so thin whereas after European standards you would break your whole hand😂😂
