What I like at Chanel Show is the fact, that all models can show off their personality in walking their special runway walk. Every model moves different. Karl doesn'nt try to make monotypes like the other designers. It's cool and sometimes funny to see, how different the models walk, particularly when to or three walk side by side. And thereby all models walk good and confident, because they feel good and be theirself. This difference makes this show so specticular: Not the clothes, not the location, the models are the best!!!

This is my favorite show. For this show I imagine sitting down at a cafe and watching all the working women walking by as they head on over to the office. This show just makes you stop and think wow, women are so cool. They can be mothers, bosses, leaders, and at the same time they are so beautiful and graceful. Idk, this is turning into a women appreciation post but this show really makes me appreciate women! lol

Such a beautiful collection. Love the cobblestone motifs, and the bright pops of color brilliantly mixed with neutrals. Karl Lagerfeld always captured the essence of Chanel while constantly reinventing it at the same time. He managed to keep it modern and effortlessly chic, his Chanel woman suspended in an eternal youth, much like he was himself eternally youthful. His designs were truly special, and it makes me very sad to see that Chanel does not have this magic anymore without him.

This is one of the best interesting show for Chanel as I can recall. I must say Karl catches the trend that ,in normal daily differrnt various styles , not necessarily in dreamy princess and goddess style, you can still wear quality, sophistication & trendy style for women with different personalities/positions. Hippie dresses used to cost you 50 bucks. Thanks to Karl ,right now you can get 2000 dollar hippie dress with comfortability and quality. I believe the sale numbers will be great too.

Those bold colorful prints like the ones they are wearing with the knee high colorful boots are a blast from the 60's . Looks like this was bringing back the cloths by the designer "Pucci". Marilyn Monroe wore a lot of Pucci. She looked great in it. I love vintage Pucci. What Chanel did here is fabulous...........

I thought the layout was neat & different, but I kind of prefer when they do it where it's just one outfit at a time coming down, though that was such a huge collection it probably would've taken too much time had they done it that way. I think my favorite things were definitely the black & white menswear-inspired spectator shoes towards the end, they were amazing, & also I loved the striped knit cardigans. And some of the sheath dresses were gorgeous, particularly the ones at 4:14 and the white w/black trim one at 5:32 was one of my favorite pieces in the entire show! Some of the stuff I didn't care for, but no one's going to like everything most likely. I think too sometimes it's easy for us to forget that since these shows are not meant to emulate everyday life, & are more of a fantasy, the pieces are going to be styled much differently than they likely would be irl. But Karl, you're the man!

wow what a ride, this collection would have made Coco would have been, very proud, Hat off Karl! ( I worked at a few of your show rooms in Dallas TX 1987- 1990, I went to Miss Wades) This is what caught my eyes; on one level. Here in the USA / Texas some of these garments will get you your second look, the array of skirts tops and bell bottoms trousers were all space age ready, How would you wash these garments or all are dry clean only, Here in the USA / Texas at lot of these pieces of art would not hang on the rack well enough to give it an second look, its not the clothing, its the showmanship displays in Mall and other retail outlets and stores) however the lines of showmanship was displayed in true art form; American kid and American Mothers and Fathers are in a stage of, " anything that covers their child and keeps them cool in the summer and warm in the winter. This fashion show showed all these garments in natural light and what it would look like in real city background. I loved it!
