In today’s video, we are talking all about my warm weather capsule wardrobe plan. Before sharing my full seasonal capsule, I like to talk about my process. What is inspiring, what is my color scheme, what am I decluttering, what is on my wishlist, and what am I excited to wear. By sharing my process, I hope that it helps you know how you can prepare for your seasonal capsule wardrobes! Sharing a seasonal capsule without talking about the process just isn’t as helpful, at least I think. You just had me at the “1995 version of Pride and Prejudice”. Cannot count the times I’ve watched it over the years. The best one of all in my opinion! Colin Firth is truly Mr Darcy in the flesh ❤️❤️❤️. Guess I’ll have to subscribe to your channel now :)

I grew up with 1995 Pride and Prejudice! My family would watch it once a year and it is a very special memory for me. I remember I had a long, pastel pink nightgown when I was around 12-13 and I loved it so much, and felt like Elizabeth Bennett! It made me want to carry a candle down the hallways at night instead of turning on lightswitches and I think I learned to romanticize and appreciate the small things in life. I even got my husband to watch it with me and he actually enjoyed it very much. Other Jane Austen adaptations that I love are 1996 A&E “Emma” with Kate Beckinsale; 1995 “Persuasion” with Amanda Root & Ciarán Hinds; and of course, “Sense & Sensibility” with Emma Thompson.

You know, you are one of the few KZbinrs that I watch where I find myself "talking back to the screen" while I listen/watch. I really enjoyed listening to you talk about each piece and process through your thoughts about why you were excited to wear them and why you had to part with others. I too have been capsulin for a long time, and in my excitement to obtain the perfect peace has made some poor choices that I later had to get rid of. I'm glad I'm not the only one!

The colour scheme is gorgeous! I LOOOOVED the visuals of Emma and spent this past weekend binging season two of Bridgerton, in awe of the clothes and colours (and the acting, the sets, the music, etc 😅), which made me want to rewatch all things regency again! 😊 I have to sort out my Q2 capsule this week and while I don't use colour schemes, I feel inspired by this video!

Love your content so much. I'm also on the light pink and sage green train and I'm obsessed with the two together. Thanks for sharing and I can't wait for the next one! You inspired me to try a 10 x 10 challenge and I am excited to see how it goes. I'm hoping it will help me get more wear out of my items and think of my closet in a new way. I love that you admit the mistakes you make and how you learn from them. I wish I had a nickel for every time I wanted an item so badly but my size wasn't available, so I got the next size up or down. I regret it EVERY TIME! Learning slowly but surely.
