Hey Scottie, I just wonder how you did all that, I mean there is more brown flaky paint than that shiny green stuff, no cab with heater or AC. And how did you control those straight lines across the field without GPS and a field plan. The tractor did not stop or have an array of flashing lights come up on the dashboard cos the fan belt expanded a quarter of an inch, then not start until and expensive engineer plugged a briefcase into a special plug thingy. Why use plugs when you can twist two wires together, wrap em with sticky tape. Then drive for two or more years no problem. It's great that we can witness how it was done and it feels a lot more wholesome. Thanks for that and taking me back to my youth.

Looking good. Good day when you can ride a tractor and get something done. Here in NY, we are expecting another 3 inches of snow and under that is nothing but pure mud. Great to see dry soil. Hope you have a great crop this year.

Thanks for dropping by friend! Soon your snow and mud will cease and you’ll be able to do the same!

That soil looks pretty hard Scott by the way the tines are vibrating but good tilth to plant into. Is it too hard for plant roots to allow them to grow down easily into the lower soil perhaps? Could / would you consider a second time over 4 to 6 inches deeper to break any pan? Dan
@gleanerk7 ай бұрын
Thanks Mr Dan for the thought. I would like to rip or subsoil it . Our top soil is not very deep where we live . The next layer is red hard soil ,that is only tillable when there’s moisture there ! Again Mr Dan , thanks for sharing your thoughts!
