For real, I've caught 100+ smallies out of there but never anything over a pound!

I have days where Ill catch 40 fish but they will all be less than 2 pounds lol ive also had days where I catch 10 fish and half of them are over 3lbs! Long lake is a fickle bitch lol

@@Hickology I just started fishing for smallies last year. First one I ever caught from long was 2.75. next one was 2.25. since then nothing over 1.5 lbs. But I mainly fish the bank areas, I don't know what's out deeper. Maybe Spencer and I can meet u out there in his boat some day.

Hey I’m looking to get into bass fishing. What brands for rods and reels are quality without breaking the bank? Like $150 for a rod and reel.. is that doable

If i were to make a casting combo with around 150 bucks i would grab one of the lews speed sticks from walmart($40) and lews speed spool reel($99). You can never go wrong with an Ugly Stick spinning rod as well.
