But when spring security is enabled, none of these spring boot admin stuff works because the en points are now secured...

Hi Josh, I want to override the result of some other endpoint like, /demohealth on the place of /health in spring boot admin UI. Can you help here?

Regarding the registration methods for Spring Boot Admin: I agree that it's good to avoid an extra dependency for the registration. So if you are using Spring Cloud Discovery anyway, you are right that it's much better to just use that in the Spring Boot Admin server as well, and be done. If you don't already use Spring Cloud at all, I guess that the Spring Boot Admin client actually is the smaller and less invasive dependency (as AFAIK the discovery client pulls in the Spring Cloud bootstrap context).

What about clustered application? I mean the same application running on multiple nodes... Does the system aggregate the states from all nodes or treat each node as a separate application? Thanks
@johannesedmeier40937 жыл бұрын
The spring boot admin treat's each instance separate. It only groups the applications by name in the overview.

Confirmed, in my little example I run two clients each on it's own node. In the overview it's nicely grouped. See: gitlab.com/JanGroot/spring-admin-demo
