There’s a lot of micro trends and we don’t see enough authentic styles being represented on social media. Lately I’m into printed landscape clothing and accessories! Hi, I'm older and popping by to let you know that it really doesn't matter. Your clothes/style is only relevant to how other people treat you superficially (you just will get more respect wearing certain things, but when you're young that doesn't matter because no one respects you anyways lol, so HAVE FUN). That being said, to start curating a wardrobe, narrow your choices down by only buying things that you LOVE, even if you don't think it works for you or your closet (because it might later!). My only fashion regrets are not picking up the things that I was obsessed with but thought I couldn't pull off. You see lots of videos about people chucking clothes they haven't worn in a year, but that's like half my wardrobe (so I have a full business set for professional appointments, more formal wear for wedding/funerals that overlaps with the business wear, and more fancy casual clothes for dates and such). If I find something that's going hard for me, I get multiples.

hiiii okay so i actually BOUGHT the bunny jacket and. lets just say theres a reason the price isn't so insanely high. I ordered this jacket and I was so excited abt it but the quality is so not worth it. I paid like 160 euros in total (item plus shipping plus import taxes) and after putting it on for the first time there was a HOLE above one of the pockets (which are way too small btw). After my mom fixed it for me I wore it out and discovered TWO NEW HOLES that had appeared near the pockets. the jacket itself is nice but the sewing was just rlly badly done and it sucks since I paid so much :(((

in terms of personal style: i'm a goth and i dress gothic, but i have my personal staples - e.g. long skirts, i wore them before they were trendy, i still wear them and i dont think ill stop anytime soon... and i own a ridiculous amount (esp considering i have 2 pairs of jeans in comparison) i think thats what 'personal style' is: finding a clothing thing you love, wearing it for years on end and owning as many as you can!

for anyone wondering about taobao i reccomend devil inspired, its essentially a taobao stockist and they include some of the brands in the video like SOS Seamstress, but also other kawaii/lolita type brands! i have ordered from them before, the service is very good (they give refund if the item isnt in stock very quickly) and the quality is very good but obviously it depends on what brands u buy from. some of the brands on there are very cheap/bad quality. it tells you how long u have to wait for each item. measure yourself and always follow size chart instead of your normal size when buying asian sizes!
