Owned and ridden a few Japanese singles on and off road. Laid on the tank of my DR/SP500 flat out for miles. That 7R is awesome. Of course, the Japanese singles had no primary chain to worry about. Honda and Kawasaki fours used a chain but it ran in oil and was pretty bulletproof. Thanks Sam.

Hi, very interested in the directional point section. I have a 1948 Velocette MAC that I think may have the wrong direction points. I've looked on the internet but, as yet, haven't been able to find any reason for correct direction being better and or why ?
