Kriel has been great.... Am was not great against the All Blacks when he got injured... Kriel does not deserve to get dropped for a maybe.. Was very happy with our centres vs France.. Am can try again next year.

Don't forget the ref has two touch judges and three people in the TMO box waiting to pounce on discrepancies, all of who are able to influence the ref's decisions. The ref also has a debriefing with a panel who analyze his decisions taken in the game. If O'Keeffe was blatantly bad he wouldn't have been asked to ref one of this weeks semi-finals. There will always be marginal calls, that's rugby. Hats off to Ben O'Keeffe for handling an immense pressure game and what a spectacle for rugby it was.

Am was not called back to be available for selection. He came to support the bokke. A rugby game is 80 minutes and the result is determined by the final score. If the margins are small anything can happen.

So true victor totally agree with you sir we as the Springboks were outplayed for most of the game but gracefully we find a way to overcome and be victorious France was very good and they really came out to play but our experience was the difference from Jaque and rassie and on the field I don't think the best team won France on the night was better but fortune favours the brave well done Bokke

Such nonsense dsn't mean cos the Stats were dominated by France tht they played better.... I mean Ireland also dominated Stats against AB's & lost to AB's.... Difference was Boks & AB's took their opportunities they were both Clinical when they had to be + scored while France & Ireland didn't!!!!! In summary Stats dnt Win Games (Especially Knock-Out Games) taking Ur Scoring-opportunities do!!!!

SA was brave and wise and dominated the end of the game. The ref made the difference by letting foul play in rucks break several quick French attacks : no try, not even a penalty. Everyone keeps discussing Etzebeth knock-on, or illegal Kolbe counter, true or not, but Dupont was indeed referring to less « spectacular » plays that killed the momentum at key instants. These were very obvious to both the ref and TMO, could suffer no discussion. And yet.

I would agree with most of what you write until you called this victory gracious. What is graceful about a victory against a superior team (according to you) relying on a bunch of questionable decisions by the ref ? I wish boks had played better rugby i wouldn’t be such a sore looser now.

Thanks sir for your comment and your response is appreciated what I meant by gracious is that first of all for both teams to could be part of such a spectacular event is a GRACE then after the game no major injuries is a GRACE and we can go on then France playing better than Springboks on the day and for Springboks to be victorious is a GRACE cause evens the Springboks knew they haven't played as good as Franc did but Springboks experience carried them over the line France succumb at the end couldn't hold their nerve France reminded me of our Proteas the cricket team not knowing what to do in such moments choking Springboks just knew even though they were up against the wall they just needed to stay in range with the scoreline at the end they will pipe france to the line like a marathon runner this is not a sprint its a marathon France big respect to France but bigger for Springboks
