Remember this kid was Captain at Bishops and a Headboy, he's been in leadership positions his whole life. Even in Grade 7 he was already Captain, there's literally a video on KZbin of him giving a speech to his team in the 7th grade at Bishops. He's not gonna come off as being phased by pressure or extra humble, part of the reason he's special is his confidence and arrogance, which is what you need to be on THAT level. Pollard was the exact same, people wanted him to be this scared little boy, but he wasn't phased.

Well done also to his parents, grandparents, teacher, coaches and friends that moulded him into this person we see today. Great young example to other youngsters about how to conduct yourself. @@thondoyaenterprise3795 Maybe, but it would be great to see him coming of the bench. Pollard scored a try against NZ on his debut when he was only 20 years old. Frans Steyn won a world cup at 20years old. This guy has BMT, just like Polly and Frans. But yes, early days, he needs to prove himself. .
