Fantastic atmosphere, both games and exciting, intense rugby, again both games. However, Ireland were better than they were given credit for last week. Remember, they were denied a definte try when they had momentum. So, ahead of today's game I was quietly confident they could win, even though everyone was sure SA were going to win. Boks needed a try. They were very close in the end. Ireland's kicking was much better this week. Conor Murray had a great game along with Lowe, Doris and Ryan. Osborne is a revelation at 15 and looks like he can be cover for Keenan from now on. Frawley was incredible at the end and it was his short burst and grubber kick to touch that put us in a position to get the drop goal.I thought it was a mistake for the Boks player to touch that ball at all and give Ireland that lineout at the end. Faf blew that opportunity early on with that grubber kick. Williams was much better when he came on. You guys were really dominant in the scrum. I agree that Ireland will come away feeling better than the Boks after this series. However, the Boks have so much depth that they should retain their #1 rating for quite a bit longer. You are still champs and win when it really matters. Thanks guys for the show! Love the banter.

It's a huge achievement to beat a great team like South Africa away. SA are still worthy world champions and still the No. 1 ranked team. NZ may have their own views on this though and will be looking for revenge for their final defeat!

When it looked all over and the boks looked like they were going to take the game and the series 2 - 0 , the Irish lads found something extra and pulled it back. Well deserved victory. Guys, I came here to listen to you and to raise a glass of Boks tears to you in jest but.... I couldn't possibly be so crass and rude after such a great video. Todays game was immense, look at the amount of blood that was spilled on that pitch. Two phenomenal teams went toe to toe and today Ireland came out on top. I'll be honest, I expected us to win today. Last weekends loss hurt and we knew that we were better than that. The physicality of that first half was scary. Irelands character came to the fore today, they imposed themselves in that first half and were probably diss-appointed to not be further ahead. But the Boks showed some balls to not only get back in touch but to look the most likely winner with minutes to go. Again, I'll be honest I still thought that we were going to win it. I thought that we would score a late try but we will take a sublime drop-kick. Remember when you guys stuffed the English with only drop-kicks in the WC 24 years ago ! I was living and working in London at the time and thanks for making it so nice for me to strut around the office smiling on the first day back in the office after that game. ABE - Anyone But England. For what its worth, I think that Rassie is a prat but the Bokke supporters are lekker lekker. Until next time.

Guys , great review and complementary . Frawley has huge support amongst fans and commentators to be starting 10 for Leinster except current coaching stick with Byrne inc. your frustration with new SA system is about as fluster as Leinster fans are with Nienaber system in Leinster. Faf diving at end when drop goal was being taken , to try to milk penalty for obstruction , was a low point of a great game . Osborne for a raw 22 year old was excellent and great kudos to Farrell our coach for using players when their own provinces don’t see them as starters. Remember he did same way back with JGP at 9 when he was only second choice at Leinster. Best of luck in Championship to SA

I actually thought our line out today was a real success! The scrum was better but books edged that. 15 was a gem find! Frawley came of age today. BTW no one over in Ireland thinks we are better than you and we wouldn't have said it even if we had won both games. Ireland had 4 or 5 players who got replaced for the game. The Boks style of defence and physicalty means its 100% effort mentally and physically. They were fresher than us because of it. But they did deserve the win. Next time, start at sea level and finish at altitude. You're correct that the injuries disrupted us. Snyman came on 3 times in the first 30 minutes. That's mentally tiring as well.

Couldn't agree more on the "best team in the world comments". Its getting so childish and boring now. You're a hundred percent right, its best team on the day, thats it. South Africa were the best team last week, Ireland this week. Next week it could change again if they played. Its obviously more important to be the best the day of the world cup final. Thats the best day to be the best team, but its that day. Honestly the Rayburn shield is a better indicator of the current best. We have it now. New Zealand have a shot of claiming it in November. Hello Lads. Great game brutal physicality. I think you are getting a bit carried away with the loss being the end of days. There is a microscopic amount between any of these top sides on any given day what sets SA apart is or has been the consistency epscially coming through that side of the draw at the WC they are epic Sure SA might have made.some silly errors maybe and they looked like they were going to open us up at times but I don't think it's that alarming for you. Maybe the pressure Ireland applied with the early start rattled them. When faf was replaced by Williams then you really started to play. The 6-2 is always a gamble and it screwed us against England in the six nations. Look forward to your future match reports they are really great.

Willie going off definitely weakened you but Faf going off was a blessing. Grant was so much better. You said that you werent good today but almost the entire second hand that you dominated us. Th truth is, any team can only play as well as the opposition let them, and Ireland didn't allow SA to play the expansive game they can. But SA are the World Champions, but this Ireland side has beaten NZ in a best of 3 in NZ, and now drawn a series in SA, that's a hell of a record. No matter who you are.

You came backs and win the 2nd half, however this was a World Cup winning South Africa. 29 of them. This was an Ireland B team. And they beat the boks in SA. Ireland are just a great team and deserve all the credit they get. They were dominating in the first half indiscipline cost them in the second half , but Ireland play until the final whistle and two amazing drop goals won it. Caelan Doris even though sent off was the best player on the pitch .
