You now have a very nice rifle. Have one, and have made just a few changes. Added a Geissele Super Charging Handle, LWRCI Skirmish BUIS, rail skins, and a Magpul angled foregrip. Also added a QD point on the forward end of the M-Lok stock. Feels perfect in the hands. The stock sights are nice...but those Skirmish sights are in a whole 'nother league. Will eventually add a Trijicon ACOG, and probably a Surefire light. Cleaned mine from the factory ship. Firing pin cotter pin is pretty stiff, and a drift punch helps, but the BCG in the melanite is very, very nice. Springfield took it's time coming up with these, and it shows. Look up GunBlue490 on good cleaning tips for AR's. Picked up some of the mil-spec LSA he talks about specifically made for AR's, and am trying it on mine. Makes cleaning easier, and enhances reliability of the platform, he says. Reviews have been impressive for the Victor rifle. Most other AR-10's are much more expensive. Sorry it took me a moment to get back with you I just got off of work 🥳 I've been looking at the geissele super charging handles, I'm wanting to have a very wide ambidextrous charging handle for the majority of my rifles. Do you think it's a good idea to clean the rifles before they are ever fired? I've heard that from different folks. I've also heard that it doesn't matter. But I am also a previous CNC machine operator so I know when you are milling and lathing metals, after the finished product you always want to try and make sure there is no stragglers behind. And I have been looking at the trijicon acogs as well that is so weird or ironic that you and I are looking at the exact identical stuff. So far I do love the rifle though I have not got to put any rounds through it. I'm looking to add a couple EOTech holographic sights to a couple of my rifles with magnifiers. GUNNING DOWN A DREAM Great! Bout to hit the rack myself. Yes, I always clean new firearms. Indeed, most manufacturers recommend it. Melanited finishes aren't prone to corrosion, as I understand it, so heavy protective oils may or may not have been applied by the factory after test firing. Still, I clean everything to my standards. Interestingly, I got a little carbon from their test firing when I did. If you watch GunBlue's conditioning and cleaning vids, he'll give you a lot of good information on cleaning and plating new bores. Basically, the copper jackets on bullets will coat machining marks inside to provide nice smooth rifling. Not as big a deal with hammer-forged barrels like the Saint has, especially with the melanite. But general rule is, not to over-scrub barrels. Plating and fouling are not the same things. I really enjoy his videos, as he is well-trained, and very experienced (more than fifty years cleaning and handling firearms). He also opts for simple, practical approaches to things. Keep us posted on how it goes, and enjoy the new Saint Victor (cool name for a rifle)...

@Johnny BB Goode Thank you very much for the comment brother💯 I personally can't be for certain, but they do claim to be an American Firearms manufacturer & importer, & that there made in Geneseo, Illinois. The company was founded by a gentleman named Bob Reese in 1974👍 a lot of firearms are imported. But stay safe, stay protected, stay proud to be an American 🇺🇸🦅 I haven't made any videos since the beginning of April, due to finding out I have a brain tumor at 33 years old. But I would like to get back to making videos in support of the firearms community 🇺🇸🦅

I’ll be getting a Harris eventually for my 6.5 but both my ars are slick other then optics (come find me at work I’ll show you) time on the Corps grips are just extra weight

@William Stephan's Hey thank you for the comment brother, I greatly appreciate it👍 sorry im just now getting back to you, I just got off of work. I'm up here in Indiana, I know that my gun shop charged me $60 for that foregrip, I love it being deployable, the button is very quick upon pushing it, today deploy your legs. It also has about 1 in of picatinny rail on the side of it, already built into the foregrip 💯 as far as the brand goes I will have to check on that so I can provide you the information. If it's something you really want & can't find, I would be willing to pick a couple of them up at my gun shop & mail them to you. I have PayPal & cash app. I wouldn't mind having the AR-15 as well in the Saint Victor. @@natewebb4627 hey brother thank you for the comment, the foregrip/bipod was purchased @ a buddies firearm shop, that he works at, I do agree that $60 was a rip off, especially since I seen the exact ones online for about $10 or $15 dollars. But I will say from experience I have beat the entire heck right out of it it's completely durable with a lot of rigidity. But it was also just something to try out as well as include in the KZbin video for content. Anyhow God bless you brother 🇺🇸🇺🇸

@@gunningdownadream1987 At present it is an Arctic Fox holographic red/green dot on it. She’s only had 21 rounds through her so far. Did a little playing around with the gas block grub screws and I found that the largest hole screw which I think was the yellow one cycled 150gr ammo just fine. The recoil is surprisingly light for a 308

@889976889 I got that foregrip @ my gun shop up here in Indiana brother 🇺🇲 It's really nice. It's not any particular brand name. It does not have any company listened on it. It came in a clear plastic bag. I've Actually had a couple folks ask, but that's my best answer brother🇺🇲 I know I can get them, I even asked my distributor & they don't know. @889976889 you will not be disappointed picking up your Saint Victor in .308 brother, The recoil is very forgiving, in my opinion it is actually little to none. It is a high quality rifle & it is built very nicely, it has a lot of rigidity. Thank you so very much for the comments & also for subscribing to our Channel. It's a work in progress, we have a lot of high quality photography equipment, not to mention the wife and children just got me a GoPro nine with a lot of accessories for Christmas that should enable me to have better footage of me shooting & downrange. My only issue is I am trying to learn Adobe so I can provide good quality videos. But the editing is difficult I'm not going to even lie.
