I think the gun will go 2300-2500 without any cleaning or lubrication. Your thoughts?

One doesn't have to own a Glock 19 to have a reliable pistol. The XD and XD-M Elite series are pistols you can depend on straight out of the box. They're affordable and reliable. Great value.
@averagemarksmanАй бұрын
I agree. I own a Glock 19 but it’s not my go to in any way.

I paid $278 plus tax for mine. Less than $300 for an xd can’t beat that. I also have the Echelon with a Holosun optic and a stainless steel guide. That’s a shooter. Excited about the xd mod m3
@averagemarksmanАй бұрын
@@donaldpotter3200 that’s a great price.
@delatos8322 күн бұрын
When I saw the price when they first came about was like shit you can hardly find a used gun at that price,big fan of springfield, first gun I bought was the mod 2 subcompact 9mm,they did a hell of a job on the mod 3, at 325 you can't beat it,hell the mod 2 put me back almost 700 when it first came out,they are some great shooting guns,but everyone different, great shooting like always
@averagemarksman22 күн бұрын
The price really is incredible. It’s a fantastic value.
@chillios2222Ай бұрын
thanks man , kinda hard to beat on price , its about the least expensive out there, i got my first xd used and it was good 2 go
@averagemarksmanАй бұрын
It really is hard to beat at the price point.
@jman1261Ай бұрын
This appears to be a very reliable pistol at a great price.

This gun should show that "Made in Croatia" isn't a bad thing. Compared to the SD9 2.0, Dagger, G3C and others in it's respected price range, it outshines most of them. Would love to see your thoughts on the Derya DY9 and BCA Grizzly. They seem like real contenders for the Mod 3.
@StiitchjonesАй бұрын
Croatia is and has become a good peaceful country with good working citizens. I would have no problem buying this firearm. Now Turkey I may feel different about.
@averagemarksmanАй бұрын
I always find it interesting when people hate on a gun being made in Croatia. They have quality CNC machines just like the rest of the world.
@oilyqueАй бұрын
Outside of the modularity aspect and "after market support" I think this is better than the Ruger and the sleeper winner of the year outside of the Bodyguard 2.0.

I would be interested to know how the rear non-metal slide rails are wearing without cleaning or oiling. Thanks as always.
@averagemarksmanАй бұрын
Me too. That’s one of the reasons I want to see how many rounds can be shot through it without issues.
@StiitchjonesАй бұрын
From what I've seen online this would be the handgun of the year, and at $299. I'm trying to figure how Springfield is selling these things and yet the Hellcat is twice the money. You have to think they cheaped-out somewhere but it just performs.
@averagemarksmanАй бұрын
The rails on the gun are plastic so I’m sure that helps with the price.
@CloyceSpearsАй бұрын
@@averagemarksman Only the back rails are plastic.

@@CloyceSpears I’m aware. I’m sure it helps with the price.

Do you think it would be better to trade in my shield plus optics cut 4in performance center for a full size elcon. Just considering
@averagemarksmanАй бұрын
I wouldn’t. I’d keep the Shield - it’s a great carry gun.
@robertcunningham8374Ай бұрын
If you can’t drop the slide from the front then why is there striations there? If it works then it works.
@averagemarksmanАй бұрын
Exactly. People say the craziest things.
@blazerdude89Ай бұрын
Press checks, not for racking. You rack from the back to ensure to most amount of velocity. You can argue all you want, but any good trainer will tell you the same thing.
@LogisticallyMisrepresentedАй бұрын
Can't get velocity from the front, @@blazerdude89 .?!
@averagemarksmanАй бұрын
@@blazerdude89 there’s zero difference in the outcome. Regardless of where the slide is released from it will be the same amount of momentum moving forward unless you’re riding the slide. Either way the slide stop should drop - it’s how the gun is designed. As soon as the pressure comes off the slide stop it drops. Recoil spring does the rest. We can go back and forth forever. Ive got time.
@jamiedees8223Ай бұрын
I saw one in Dunhams today and they were price gouging like a mofo!! They wanted $569 for the Mod3.

Merry Christmas🎅 My Hellcat went past 1500, I finally broke down and cleaned it and decided it had proven itself.🫡 Not to mention my wrists were sick of that snappy little 🐈. But I think the entire XD series, rivals Glock with reliability.🤷♂ My guess is it will be in the 5k plus realm, and that is just because that is a very typical round count for things to give out, not cleaning. 🤷♂ Just my guess.🫡
@averagemarksmanАй бұрын
Merry Christmas. 1500 through the Hellcat would be a very snappy experience. But it’s a great way to know you can count on it.
@blazerdude89Ай бұрын
When you lock the slide back then pull on it, it can still go back farther. This creates more velocity when the slide goes forward decreasing the chances of a malfunction. Again you can argue all you want but the physics is on my side. Dont let your ego get in the way. Most of you guntubers refuse to admit when you are wrong just to look like john wick.
@jdontcare8520Ай бұрын
Sounds like you're letting your ego get in the way. I chamber a round from the front and use the slide release during reloads all the time and it works just fine. Just because you have a preferred method doesn't mean it's the best.
@averagemarksmanАй бұрын
If your theory was accurate there would be a FTF malfunction every time you use the slide stop to drop the slide. I have no ego, I’m a random dude who likes to go shoot in my back yard. I non stop miss targets and post it on YT for an endless amount of key board experts to criticize in every way possible.
