I've been coming back to this a few times over the last couple of weeks, just to hear the Ian McKellen/Beatr/T800 Mormon stuff again. Joyous. Duncan's uncontrollable giggles at the thought of "Can we come in?" and the riffing that comes from that just adds to the hilarity of the scenario.

I think Richard has said it well before: This feels like a TV movie. But if I had to choose I would pick this over Salvation because I feel this is more fun to watch. Then again this movie has the heavy side order of cringey, forced "nostalgic" callbacks and comedic parts that make you wanna smash the dvd to smithereens.

I saw this abomination in the cinema. Despite the dodgy trailers and no Cameron involvement I was naive enough back then to still have hope and excitement in my soul. I remember tearing up when Arnold put those Elton John glasses on. I was a real-life Ralph Wiggum, If someone pirating the movie had turned their camera on me in that moment they could have have recorded the exact moment my heart broke :(

12:20 absolutely agree. T2 is incredible and one of the greatest sequels ever but gets a bit overrated in the sense that it’s often praised as being better than the first when it is not. The first terminator is elegant in it’s simplicity and near flawless. The second one doesn’t hold up as well to logic. The story itself is much more of a stretch.

Edit: Maximum Overdrive - had a cringey trailer featuring Stephen King himself, telling the audience he was going to scare them, and make the scariest movie ever.

We have Tetsuo Iron Man, Whistle and I'll Come to You, When the Wind Blows and Threads coming up. But as I've said many times before (and as was demonstrated by the Italian horror specials), when we make stuff like that hardly anybody watches it. I'd rather do more stuff like that myself, but it's frankly a luxury for a small channel like this. Trust me, it's depressing when we spend whole days lighting and set dressing my house to shoot a bunch of episodes that get hardly any views only to have a 30 minute Skype conversation about the new Terminator trailer get 8 thousand views in a week. Also: We've covered way, WAY more than just Alien, Robocop and Terminator over the last year. That seems like an unfair thing to say. -R
