Uhhhhh this is not even close to how springlock suits work 🤓The way they work according to all official media, is that the suits use springlocks on the inside of the costume to pull the suit's robotic endoskeleton to the edges of it, making enough room to climb inside "safely". Note that the endoskeleton is always on the inside of the suit, and is in fact never removed (except for the head, because there is an exoskeleton instead that it can be attached to). When the suit fails, the springlocks release the exoskeleton and endoskeletons into their robot-mode positions. The exoskeleton parts clamp down onto the person's body, then the endoskeleton parts are driven through the wearer's flesh and bone. All of this is also evident when you look at Springtrap's model, you can very clearly see an endoskeleton and exoskeleton have gone through William's body. The point of a springlock suit is so that it can be used as an animatronic and suit by pulling all the robot parts out of the way when someone wants to wear the suit, so having just a lot of rows of pointless springlocks that shoot out in random directions and have no obvious purpose makes very little sense. I know research is hard, but I just want to show you where this could be better. Still a good video though. Sorry for me being a 🤓again.

@@rozovygoose5052 The springlocks themselves can not pierce the lungs, it would have to be one of the metal ribs or endoskeleton parts that are being held in place or released BY the springlocks. But other than that, I don't know. Possibly? I mean, in The Silver Eyes graphic novel William says it's impossible to scream during a springlock failure, but he lies because later on he screams as he gets springlocked. Could be lazy writing or something, but according to what actually happened it seems like you can scream in a springlock failure.
