Excellent video. I could not watch these due to attention span issues until I installed Enounce's "MySpeed" on my Mac and on my Win7 (via BootCamp). I listened to this at 2.6 times normal speed, with mouse at the ready to freeze each code sample or invocation of "REST shell" to make studying the code or command possible. Having these videos in HD is so nice-- the older SpringSourceDev videos (non-HD) are difficult to read the code within due to fuzziness. My copy of "Spring Data" arrived from Amazon last night from Amazon. This video will make reading that book a lot easier.

most people prefer the option for deep dives. You're always welcome to stop watching once you get what you need... btw our webinars are 60 minutes. These are springone talks.

HTML took us from keyboard to browsers and clicks. XML configs took us from configurable integration schemes. Now Spring Data Rest taking us from HTML to command line interactivity. And programmable configurtions obviating the need for XML configs. Neat, have we come a full circle?

Just in case you want to adapt this project (at github.com/SpringSource/spring-data-rest-webmvc) to use MySQL, you must change the member variable "lines" to "line" in the entity class Address, due to a bug in Hibernate's schema generation naming strategy (see HHH-6005 at Hibernate's issue tracker site).

one and half hour is too much - can you create webinars that take like half an hour? I don't watch them just because they are too long..
