? The only one who realy defeat afton was puppet with the help of larson and stichwraith, and it was just his spirit. The only time golden "defeated" afton was when he stop him from making them perfect (the blob i think) and trap him in his personal hell. Plus never golden beat agony, in addition he's probably one of the weakest animatronic in that timeline (strangely the opposite of every other animatronic exept maybe pitrap ccause being beat by a 10 year old child is kinda cringe)

People say Golden Freddy is strong yet all I’ve seen him do in the franchise is make his head float. He’s just a suit that can teleport and make his head fly. What else is there to that other than giving a few people a heart attack where as springtrap on the other hand is a robotic suit designed to fit around a 6-foot mentally crazy serial killer with the purpose to kill children and possible witnesses if needed.

In order to get Afton in hell someone had to lure him into the pizza plex and burn it down. Golden Freddy did nothing but attack his spirit. If Afton was still springtrap all he would have to do is burn the golden Freddy suit and he could do the exact same thing to the spirit.

Ok before i say this is cap, Springtrap could actually win due to 2 factors. 1, his intellect and his ability to just keep coming back after "dying" over and over can be handy, although it could also end up as a stalemate. The second way is through taking advantagr of the fact that Golden Freddy can only teleport to move, along with some other hax. If Springtrap figures out Golden Freddy, he wins. HOWEVER Golden Freddy despite having no strength or durability or even speed (not counting teleporting) since he physically cannot move, his hax and just sheer willpower and anger can still carry out a win. Remember, he trapped Afton in purgatory, kept him alive just to make him suffer, and even still would find ways to make him suffer more by just existing in any plane. Golden Freddy, despite being 2 spirits, one of which is his own son (who is useless at this point) and the other being a devilishly angry Cassidy which was the kid he "should not have killed", is IMMENSELY powerful for a kid who for 1, cant physically move, and 2, can be so angry, that he made his OWN personal hell for Afton to deal with. Golden Freddy could have killed Afton so many times, its just he would rather see him suffer than die and end all the fun.
